@drrockkso8882 Жыл бұрын
I can't tell if those plotlines appeal to the LMN demo because IRL they used to be the bullies, or because they were the ones who got bullied. Like, are Lifetime moms watching these movies as a vicarious fantasy of getting revenge on the bitches who bullied them in high school? Or are they watching it as a horror movie because they're afraid that the losers they bullied in high school will eventually reappear one day and get revenge on them?

Lifetime movies are a fascinating glimpse into the mind of bored, paranoid suburban housewives. Their lives are so dull and unfulfilling that they fantasize about horrible shit happening to their family just to break the monotony. It's why Lifetime movies appeal to them so much. They take 15 days to shoot and they hire a washed up movie star to work for 1 day as the judge, or scientist or whatever and put him on the cover.
