I love how Mitch breaks down his winning strategy so effortlessly in the post event interview, and he's so casual about it.

@BrandonBigB956Ай бұрын
He does look huge. Fell for him had to compete against the likes of Shaw and now the Moose. Had Mitch Hooper not tore his hands up so bad he likely would have taken all 6 titles he entered this year.
@sippachu9721Ай бұрын
It's light because it's not competing for a big title, just a 'basic' giants live show where they don't want to kill the athletes for no reason. Also a lot of them are going to want to be ready for the bigger shows coming up. Just a nice entertaining Giants Live show, so stop complaining about it being too light.
@MicheldiedАй бұрын
Agreed. I don't think every single contest needs to have maximal everything. I'm pretty sure they know a lot of the guys are coming from SMOE.
@pablotorres4342Ай бұрын
100% no need to tear down the athletes is just a regular show no need for the super heavyweights
@vojtechkorhon4159Ай бұрын
I'm glad that arm over arm pulls are added to the competitions now, but I think it would be better if it was heavier and more difficult next time. Then we'd better see the actual differences in strength between all the athletes.

It shouldn’t. It’s not a big competition that should be heavy

I don’t believe all events should be heavy. I don’t mind a GL show being a speed or lighter weight show. I do believe athletes should start picking their own maxes for axel

Kinda weird how the weight of the competitors is listed in metric but their height is in imperial, how does that make any sense?
@DrivewaybuiltАй бұрын
Its a UK thing I believe - they don't use lbs, it is kgs or stone but distances are still imperial - last I knew
@gotzvonunentberlichingen1452Ай бұрын
Imperial does seem to be better for human heights though. An inch can be a visible height difference throughout the day, a cm on the other hand is so minuscule it’s hard to notice.

Rather see what the SMOE did and have a heavy weight that athletes can't finish. Then it's not a speed race but more of a strength event 💪

@@Nicknoone1936 when they do moving events like loading race or steeple chase its always a race, the set of atlas stone up to 180 kg is always a race, the carry and drag the same, bag over bar is about not making mistakes in order to have a fast time and the same with the car yoke. They need to go heavier on all the moving events, i really like about the SMOE that not all athletes completes the event but in giants live they always finish pretty fast

Who did the testing for that truck, that was ridiculously easy and way too light for athletes of this caliber, maybe worse than the one at worlds strongest man a couple of years ago. you think they would’ve learned from that

It’s a minor show immediately after SMOE, they went light on purpose
