The Pressure Perfect breathing exercises have significantly lowered my blood pressure more than anything else I have tried over the last 6 years, including supplements, diet, reducing sodium, and even exercise. Thank you so much and thank KZbin for putting this video in my recommended list. It has taken years to find something that actually works!

So glad to hear this has helped you! Meditation is also great for hypertension. I personally like "Open Focus" techniques as you don't even have to know how to meditate in order to use the techniques. Keep up the great work!

This is a God send! My blood pressure is normal now! I recommend exhales that are different-sometimes hum the exhale- sometimes use vowel sounds-and importantly- yawn the exhale. Yawning and humming are good for your voice and have health benefits of their own- humming increases the nitrous gas which dialates the arteries- decreasing blood pressure! Any way that’s my 2 cents! I just want to thank you again! I am so happy! You really saved my life in my advance toward being really healthy!!!!

@@LowerMyPressure thank you SO So So much! My readings, my general health! It’s really terrific. I think a lot of people who are pre-hypertension or low level hypertension would really be amazed that they can turn it around with these breath exercises and diet and exercise. I was on medication, but now my BP readings are excellent! I’m going to be visiting this link every day twice! Thanks!

thank YOU @ LowerMyPressure for this most valuable information. It truly works and I will simply add it to my routine for health. My blood pressure readings became grotesque,outta the blue,equivalent to what they used to call malignant hypertension,systolic reading higher than 200/diastolic greater then 100--in spite of many medications remains brittle with swings from 140/90 (good for me) to those bizarre readings-i am not overweight,HAD no kidney problems at the onset--now i doBUT --this really WORKS-just did it for todays "workout" LOL and the reading was 124/86 ! of course am on another cocktail of prescriptives which are NOT working as they should,and will continue the meds and this program, THANK YOU for giving us this information.

Before I started a couple months ago my numbers were about 154/90. Now my average reading is around 121/74. Went to the doctor and was getting anxious when it was time to take my blood pressure. Thankfully, it was only 125/85. I am not taking any medication, although my doctor tried to prescribe them for me last year but I told her that I would work on my diet and exercise program Thankfully, I found this video around the same time I saw the medical device that costs $300 that does the same this this does. This is very helpful and I've told some friends about it, but it's up to them to do it. Personally, I'd rather take 10 minutes a day to do this than be on meds with long-term side effects. Thank you!

Congratulations on putting in the work and getting the results you want and deserve. It's amazing what health benefits you can achieve with just simple breathing exercises but it does show that stress plays such an important role in our lives and health. The exercises help the body to realize that you're not in a constant "fight or flight" all the time and in turn lowers your blood pressure. Keep up the great work!

It works! My BP had been running a little high like low 130s over 80. I decided that after my morning walk, I would try doing this for 15 min. before starting work. I did it, but am not good at just sitting still, so I picked up some colored pencils and started coloring while doing it. Afterward, I took my BP and it was 118/71. I think I will make this my regular routine...even though my morning walk refreshes me, this refreshed and calmed me even more, before starting work for the day!

I told my doctor (one of the top holistic MDs in Michigan) about your fine program, and sent him links both to the videos, and the CD/download options. He could not find information on these links about how the program works. I sent him your FAQ link, which hopefully will answer his questions. However, his point is well taken that it would be helpful to have a link with program purpose and overview easily visible/available on You Tube.

Thank you for providing this video; I am trying it out as a free/low cost alternative to Resperate (my sensor for that product stopped working). I tried your 8 breaths per minute video this morning, and it lowered my systolic over 30 points and diastolic 6 points (compared to BP taken just before doing the video); I plan to continue doing the breathing exercises on the Pressure Perfect video daily, which I know is required to make ongoing progress. One question: Are the breathing videos (8 minute, 6 minute, etc) available with alternative tone options? Providing at least one or two other tone options would allow listeners to choose the tones that are most calming for them. Also, are there advantages (e.g., extra features) on your download or CD that are not available on the Pressure Perfect free online videos?
@LowerMyPressure
@LowerMyPressure 4 жыл бұрын
We do not have alternate tones like the Resperate but then again we provide the videos for free on KZbin :-) The downloads available on our website are the same as the streaming videos but are offered as a way for those with limited data plans not to pay for streaming the videos. The modest cost also allows us to pay for the hosting of our website as we are taking a big financial hit offering the videos for free on KZbin. Best of luck keeping your BP in check!

@@LowerMyPressure I am grateful for your response as well as the generosity of your company in providing these videos at no charge. I believe that if the CDs and downloads offered some additional value (e.g., one or two tone alternatives, a couple informational articles, etc.) that you would see a significant increase in purchases. Of course any improvements in the cds and downloads would need to be at a low cost to your company so that the increased revenue would not be offset by the increased expense. I wish you and your company the best.

I can't stop yawning which puts off the rhythm. Does that matter?
@LowerMyPressure
@LowerMyPressure 6 жыл бұрын
It's okay because they are deep breaths and not shallow quick breaths. As you become more familiar with the exercises, you will probably go longer periods without having to yawn.

Does it matter that every once in a while 8 breaths feel better to do than my usual 6? Or should I stick with 6? Thanks.

Should we inhale and exhale through the nose or inhale through the nose and exhale through our mouth? Which is better? Thanks
@LowerMyPressure
@LowerMyPressure 2 жыл бұрын
There is a link to the instructional video in the video description. The short answer is that keeping a steady breathing pace is the most important aspect of the exercises. It really doesn't matter if you breathe through your mouth or nose, but personally I prefer to breathe through my nose.

Unfortunately we can't comment on medical diagnosis. Sleep studies in the lab aren't the best because it's difficult to fall asleep under such conditions. I personally use a non-contact sleep monitor called "Somnofy" but they are on the expensive side (around $400 or so). I think some of the better fitness monitors such as FitBit, etc. have a sleep monitor capabilities. Monitoring sleep is a great way to see how your body is doing and how you recover from stressful situations and illness. Best of luck!

Which is better six breaths a minute or 8?
@LowerMyPressure
@LowerMyPressure 3 жыл бұрын
8 BPM is great to get you started. After you've become proficient with 8 BPM then feel free to move on to 6 BPM. They are both great exercises (anything under 10 BPM will show an improvement in your blood pressure) It's all about what's comfortable for you - don't strain too much to keep up with the breathing exercises.

What's the Difference between 6, 8, 10, 12 Breaths per minute? And what is the Great Start to us newbies?
@LowerMyPressure
@LowerMyPressure 3 жыл бұрын
Ten breaths or less per minutes is the magic number. Some people find 10 breaths too fast so they might hyperventilate. Personally I find 8 or 6 breaths per minute to be perfect. If 8 BPM is too taxing then try the 10 BPM.

@LowerMyPressure
@LowerMyPressure 3 жыл бұрын
@@r.severino1746 It takes about 2-3 weeks to see any substantial benefits. Doing the exercises more than twice per day will NOT lower your BP any faster. Personally I like to do my breathing exercises right before bed because it relaxes me and I sleep better. Best of luck!
