8 Fall Outfit Ideas for Men | Casual Fall Lookbook

Many menswear enthusiasts will agree that Fall is the best season for style. It's definitely my favorite season for a few reasons:
The rich, deep colors like burgundy, forest green, acorn, orange and olive. The texture and depth of heavier materials like leather, corduroy, tweed, wool and flannel. But most of all, I love wearing layers.
Just like wearing clothes that fit, wearing layers is one of the secret weapons of stylish men. When worn properly, layers look amazing, no matter how casual or formal your outfit is.
And you just can't wear layers when it's super hot out, like in the middle of summer. That's why autumn is such a great seasom for men who like to dress well. It's cool enough to warrant multiple layers of clothing, but it's not so cold that you have to cover your whole body every time you need to leave the house.
I'm going to show you a few of my favorite fall outfits. They're versatile, relatively timeless and easy to pull off. Many of these outfits feature pieces from one of my favorite clothing brands and today's video sponsor, Peter Manning.

Do you have a video on the proper way to fit jeans? I'm rather tall with larger legs and it is hard to rock the super skinny jeans comfortably. Wearing jeans that are boot cut or large opening at the bottom are looking rather frumpy. I can't seem to find pants that aren't baggy at the bottom. What is the medium between stylish and too short? Hi Brock I've got a question. I bought a field jacket like the Tribeca. It's also olive green but has a more rugged than a clean design. I would like to wear it with a nice pair of boots for a though look. But my view is that boots and big shoes kinda look out of proportion for a smaller frame with thin legs. Brock, you might not need to have those heavy boots in Arizona. Temperature is usually quite warm there, if you were living in northern Utah or Colorado then I can see it.

The leather is from New Zealand. I don't know which is more sturdy, but this jacket is buttery soft and fits really well.

Looking good, Brock, but I've only got one gripe. I feel like the PM jeans are an inch too short on you (hooray, right?) They're looking a bit flooded compared to your GAP jeans which are a perfect length/fit. If you could, I'd recommend getting the PM ones exchanged for a 28 length rather than the 27 you currently have. That said, you know your body better than anyone. I know you know more than myself about these things, so take this comment with a grain of salt. I'm a huge fan of what you do for us modest men, and I appreciate your work. Have a good one!

+Zain Iqbal could definitely go 28 instead. I just like the no break, cropped look. I also plan on wearing these mostly with boots (not sneakers or loafers). But you're right - the 28 would probably be a more traditional length for jeans.

Yeah my style is pretty safe, but you could throw on a bold scarf or watch to spice these outfits up. Or just change one item for something more colorful, like the sweater or polo.

That's why this is my favorite channel when it comes to outfits/style. Because it's basic and can be used as a template by almost anyone. He emphasizes fit, quality and choosing the right colors (for your hue/skin tone). Once you have all that down, you can add your own touch to outfits to make them more interesting.

I feel that trying to add something crazy or unique to an outfit would be only appropriate if you have the basics down. This video does have quite a bit of personality but lays a great foundation for beginners who are starting out with this modern timeless look. The first outfit is really great though!
