On April 15th of 1984, the East New York section of Brooklyn would learn of one families horrific brush with evil. Two women and eight children would lose their lives in a vicious slaying that left authorities and loved ones stunned, and the grief this family experienced would be felt by the entire borough. After two months of theories the truth was out, and it wasn't what anyone ever expected. My condolences go out to the friends and loved ones of all the victims. May they all rest in peace. You aren't forgotten.

I remember this case in1984. I was still in my teens. There were so many theories but I never thought that one single solitary man could cause all this death and grief over his belief that his wife was cheating with Enrique. He has to be one of the most cowardly, angry, hateful piece of human waste to execute 8 kids and 2 woman, 1 pregnant. He should have NEVER,EVER BEEN RELEASED FROM PRISON. He had no disciplinary reports an was a "good" prisoner? Of course he's going to be on his best behavior because the inmates knew he killed 8 children and 2 women, one pregnant. He wasn't going to be able to fight off an entire cellblock obviously. Probably went into protective custody. This man should have been left to rot in prison and not be free after 10 murders.

Wow. I was taken aback by how personally this terrible crime and lost hits home. I am related to someone in the family (I prefer not to say who, for privacy reasons). When you hinted at the location with the street signs before releasing this video, I had a strong feeling you would cover this dreadful story. I shared your teaser post with them, and they confirmed it. This tragedy has left indelible scars on the family's hearts, scars that will never fully heal. To this day, my family member struggles to articulate the profound pain they continue to endure from this traumatic and incomprehensible loss. The pain is evident in their eyes whenever they are reminded of it. Justice on earth was denied, as the family saw this inhumane individual live out his sentence in prison and eventually walk free. My family member and I deeply appreciate you, your platform, your audience, and your commitment to honoring those who were lost by exposing the harsh realities of these heinous crimes and the systemic failures they highlight. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We truly value what you have done ❤

Please don't ever skip the educational history, I learn so much that school never taught me, plus I LOVE seeing the old pictures and video clips of New York etc. All that aside, we need to start calling it the INJUSTICE System because HOW SWAY? Good behaviour my ass that should be reserved for petty criminals not murderers and rapists. It's easy to behave when there's nobody to victimize or no vices at your finger tips. You are a GEM Jose, your work is very much appreciated.

The fact that a man could murder two innocent women and *eight innocent children* in cold blood... and then use the fact that "he was high on cocaine" to downgrade the murder charges to manslaughter is absolutely fuggin' mind-boggling. That's the polar opposite of proper justice being served... and any/everybody who was involved in allowing that to happen is downright despicable. This was a slam-dunk death penalty case if there ever was one... meanwhile, this psychopath is back out walking the streets. Disgusting. Another phenomenal presentation, Jose. As always, thank you for sharing -- and please, keep up the amazing work, my friend!

This man kills people, shoots a girlfriend, beats another one in public after she got an order of protection and they let him go? The people could still be alive if they did their damn jobs😡

Your videos are just brilliant. The stories told with such compassion and respect for the victims and their loved ones. I also love how you weave in the history of the areas which, as a Brit I know so little about. You absolutely epitomise all that is good about KZbin without any of the sensationalism present in so many true crime channels. Thank you 🙏

You truly have a remarkable gift of sharing the memories of those taken far too soon. You share these stories with compassion, and authenticity and so respectfully. These are truly tragic events that have taken place in our world. May these beautiful, innocent people never be forgotten. Thank you also for educating me. I google map all the addresses you provide, it adds so much more reality for me. 1984 or 2024, remarkably real and the depth of sadness and senselessness, is so much more. God bless all those affected this fateful day, in 1984.

I remember this case it was horrible. How could that fool kill everyone in that house. Our justice system is a total joke how could they let this killer out of prison after serving 32 years? He should have gotten LIFE WITHOUT PAROLE

What I most enjoy about this channel are the history lessons in the beginning. In school, one may get the generalizations of what happened in each state, but the chronicalling of Brooklyn from Before Colonization to modern day is absolutely NOT common knowledge. Thank you for the time, dedication, and care as you always do for each video ❤

Props for the time stamp. Most dont do that and it results in many videos getting shut off. You'll have that sometimes when whats being discussed wasn't what the reason they clicked. So bravo sir!

My mother told me about this when I turned 10. I was 6mos when this tragedy took place. It still saddens me. If this fool had stayed in lockup, a family would still be here. As a Brooklynite, whenever I pass by I say goodnight to them.

I was absolutely glued to this story. From age one, I was raised in Rockland County in upstate NY. My Mom died here in Brooklyn NY so my father placed us in St. Agatha's Convent. At age 13, we used to sneak on a bus to NY city and I saw the worst drug dealing and prostitution. I just got that feeling with this story. I have chills. Many people overdosing on drugs in hallways of buildings. OMG 😱 😱 😱
