I decided to go back to a vegan diet just under 3 months ago. (I ate a vegan diet for 7 years in the past and don’t even ask me why I quit because it was so long ago and I honestly don’t have any good reason why, I just one day started eating meat again). I am not fully healthy as I do use some products to help me in the transition. But my goal is to slowly fade those out. 2 months in I ate 2 eggs (no hate please but we actually have backyard chickens). Within 1 day my face completely broke out in acne and it took an entire week to go away. When I was searching I found out it is because I gas have a ton of hormones in them and can cause acne. And no, I’m not putting in links of sources. A simple google search will pull up what I just said. I am going back to a vegan diet because of my gut health but am realizing already other effects.

Glad to hear that the vegan diet is working well for you and your body! 😇 Going vegan really helped to clear my skin too :) and I noticed loads of positive changes to my energy levels / strength.

Meat has protein, vitamins and omega 3. Very essential for us.

Great video and I really like your channel, I have one note about the background music if you could lower it a little so that we can hear you clearly. Otherwise everything is good and I wish you the best.

eugh a whole jar of nutella in one day? i dont think i couldve done that in any time of my life. nutella just has way too much sugar. im the kind of person who thinks any more than a regular stuffed oreo is gross. thins all the way. just wish they made ones with regular sized cookies but thin amount of filling. im starting to get more sensitive to sugar entering my early, almost mid, 20s. which ig is a good thing. i still like my sweet things, but anything too concentrated with sugar aint it. i call it the sugar sting. the sugar acid kinda burning my throat. what kinda sucks with vidoes and topics like these are that 90% of the time its focused on weight LOSS. as someone with high metabolism, ive been struggling with weight GAIN for all my life. its worse when it comes to trying to be healthy as more often than not, healthy foods arent calorie dense. all of this has become increasingly difficult with the job im at. any healthy habits or efforts have completely gone out the window. waking up at 3:30ish to be at work by 4:45 and working a 10 hour shift and getting home at like 5 on average. also living in an asian household, theres just so much random shit everywhere that i cant even be bothered trying to learn to cook. i was eating factor_ for a while just to try it out for a couple months, but i was finding it was too expensive for too low calorie meals. if i was trying to lose weight then maybe.

you raise a really good point there actually, so much of health and fitness is weight loss and not weight gain even though it can be equally as hard for some people. my only (unsolicited lol) suggestion would be to increase the amount of healthy fats (olive oil, nuts, avocado) to make up the calories but also it's hard since you shouldn't overeat these things either 😭 wishing you the best in your health journey and i hope you find a solution/balance that works well for you 🙏🏻🍽️

what do you think about the 80/20 food rule.

am all for it! you'll go crazy if you don't let yourself have a treat once in a while. i think the hardest part for most people is treating themselves in moderation. if you can master that then you're set imo 💫
