If I remember right, you could actually find the room where the events of the Dead Island trailer went down when you went to explore the hotel. So it was part of the game, just not in the way anyone expected.

You all best be ready! Paul Phoenix is my boy, and I have tanked people since before Tekken ever even went online. Oh, the love and hate I got at the arcades. I remember playing online for the first time in Tekken 6, where you can see, not just your opponent's wins, but also his or her losses. I would fight people who had 10,000 wins and not even 100 losses, and I would still destroy them 2 out of 3 times. There's a reason Paul Phoenix has been in every single Tekken game. He may be considered by many a comic relief character, but they did him justice in the last animated film. He was much more serious and played a much stronger role than he normally does and the games. Can't wait to see the new combos they've added to his ever changing, but always evolving, combat style.

An example i always think of is the original Assassin's Creed game. When it first came out Xbox Magazine gave it a mediocre score, saying it was repetetive and not a lot of fun. Fast forward a few months later, after the game sold really well, and they increased their score. Now Assassin's Creed is a massive franchise but i always remember how they tried to dump on it 😂

As someone who mostly plays Nintendo, I heard of Beyond Good and Evil 2, I thought it came and went, it's only now that some channels put it on their list and reminded me that it hadn't even released yet. I had completely forgotten about it since I learned about it initially. As a game I wish I could play, but had no way of playing. I think I'd play the original first anyway, I prefer playing games in order if I can.

Have you guys ever done a "most deceptive trailers" video? Seeing the Dead Island one reminded me of the stark contrast between that trailer and the actual game. If you were expecting something like The Last of Us in terms of story, you would've been massively disappointed. Cool trailer, not really representative of the actual plot. Same with that Gary Jules trailer for Gears 1. It wasn't an emotional roller-coaster of a ride. Rather it was more heavy metal head banger.
