You’d be surprised how many clients reach out for Personal Training that have no desire to change. I’m a Personal Trainer and the majority of my clients just want to throw money and hope their problems change. So when he said, ‘you’re eager to change’ I FELT THAT.

@@foushoo oh 100%, I completely agree with you. Boundaries do have to be explained and set. What I had in mind is that there are also so many people who will just criticise people immediately, without helping them to realise why their perspectives or approaches to change need to be adjusted. One of my areas of expertise is Health & Exercise Psychology and it's quite shocking how many PTs will just shame individuals without listening to them more or providing some basic compassion - It shows just how you have to be a people-person in the field!

Will, the fact that you look this YOLKED at 197 is so motivating! I'm 198 (6 and 1/2 feet and 20% body fat) and nowhere near as muscle-bound but I know with consistency and discipline I'll get to where you are! I've been training for 4-5 years now but lost track of my calorie intake since 2022 after my father passed away. Gained about 15lb in fat.. It's been really hard cutting lately but watching your videos from time to time always keeps me motivated to enjoy a healthy fitness lifestyle (that includes indulging in the occasional donut(s) every now and then, haha!). Thanks for always uploading top-tier content that keeps us smiling and motivated. You're awesome, mate! Keep it up :)

the 2nd guy is a typical bs personal trainer saying things like you need carbs to lose weight, fat dumbbells help recruit type 2 muscle fibers, high calorie protein shake to reduce cortisol levels. All total bs with either no or very weak scientific data. Plus that dumbbell press set was stupid. Trainers always like to have clients do weird stuff to make them look clever and unique. How do I know - yep I used to be trainer and I'd have clients do dumb stuff too.

theyre both great for the price, what i do like about the 2nd one though is that they work on your mobility and flexibility. A lot of people that go to the gym forget how important they are, and a lot of times you don't even notice how much mobility youre lacking because you just get used to it, so having someone able to see it and try to correct it and tell you where you need help will improve your lifting a lot.

Second one was terrible for the price though? All that info can be easily found from KOT/squat university I don’t rlly get it

@@lofivibez182 You can find practically all the information you need for your physical training needs for free. But you have to put time and effort in finding them, and applying them. Trainers exist because for lot of people it's easier to have someone else couch them step-by-step.

@@lofivibez182 i dont think its terrible for the price. Its not for everyone, i wouldnt pay for that myself but it could be beneficial to some people. You can literally find ANYTHING online, you can be sick and diagnose yourself and even find remedies for whatever illness you have but aat the end of the day youll still see a doctor.

@@lofivibez182there’s something to be said about actually getting feedback in real time. If you have a literal full team of experts dedicated to getting you from point A to point B, you’re gonna get there faster than doing it all by yourself. Trial and error is a pretty slow process and people who can afford $8,000 for personal training probably don’t have a whole lot of free time to spend on fitness KZbin.
