It's not even the belt but the dynamic, we knew that even if we don't get beaten, our parents' attitude would change from a friendly and caring to cold and controlling. Some people hoped to get the belt and everything goes back to normal, people like me feared that the care would disappear. Nowadays children are as you said, allowed to do anything they want, then the parents get wide eyes, surprised that their children behave exactly like that when they get older.

Bad parenting is why those boys are doing bad things.
@aldorado123Ай бұрын
These boys have been getting away with stuff for a while for them to have gone to this extreme. I wonder if these boys have active fathers in their lives; moms can't do it alone. Makes a huge difference when both mom and dad are actively engaged in their children's guidance and boundary-making.

i know plently amazing, responsible and incredible people raised by single mothers. the problem here is that these mothers are bad parents.

"I'm scared" then listen real close because it sounds like she continues ,"he won't lie". So it sounds like she coached him to lie and is scared he won't follow through with it!

Kayla Costa is giving her son permission to misbehave and then lie about it. Evidently she doesn't believe in doling out consequences to her child when he's been caught misbehaving and destroying innocent people's property. Be sure to add to your son's college fund regularly; you might need to dip into it to bail your boy outta jail if he keeps this crap up.

THOSE BOYS WILL DEFINITELY HAVE PROBLEMS WITH THE LAW BEFORE EVEN THEIR TEENS. I BLAME BOTH KIDS PARENTS AND THEMSELVES NOT HAVING DISCIPLINE. BUT SINCE THEY KNEW THEIR ACTIONS, I DON'T FEEL SORRY FOR THEM.
