@@boitumelodibetso8719 while I hear you and ur so right saying weaponized incompetence is so incredibly toxic, I wouldn’t call it abusive like Hannah. It’s very obvious nick was raised boy parents and was shown literally nothing regarding the house, but I truly don’t think he was trying to tactically attack Hannah and belittle her. Yes, Hannah can look at his lack of knowledge and decide if it’s toxic/lessen her life. However, she intentionally used every moment she could to humiliate him to the point where he is viscerally scared of her. That big fight after the party proved her wrong after she verbally assaulted him, and she slithered away to sleep instead of apologizing. Then she had a brunch with her friends, complaining about him to nick. She had her friends do her dirty work. That is manipulation at its finest. The way I would never ever allow my friends into my relationship and criticize my partner. In summary, being unknowingly toxic and intentional abuse are two separate things. Hey Ramses, meet your hand! You don’t even need to wear a glove! 😂 Seriously though, all longterm partners experience out of sync times for intimacy and he’d be best off offering to help her (tea? Hot water bottle? Comfort food?), put more energy into wedding planning and then rub one out if he’s still in the mood but she isn’t. It reads as a heightened need for fusion, you can still satisfy your own needs in a partnership if/when your partner is out of commission. I think Ramses might’ve been sexually needy in relationships before and experienced being iced out by his partner, but he’s not looking at himself and what is reasonable, nor is he communicating his concerns in a healthy way, because I think we can see a glimmer of what he’s trying to say but it’s cloaked in so much need and so many unrealistic expectations. He just dumps 100% of his needs on Marissa, which is exactly what she said she didn’t want in a partnership. If you can’t take a couple of nights off spicy times, marriage may not be for you. It’s about more than sex, and the worst is she’d likely get back in the mood faster if he helped with the other things that are stressing her out rather than just adding his raw boners to her plate of stuff to do!

Alex later did an interview with Vulture and explained that Tim's parents were in town for several days. When she napped, Tim was not present, he went to the store. Alex said she told the parents, who were staying at Tim's house, that she had evening plans and wanted to rest prior to her engagement and they were fine with it. She left them watching tv and hung out with them again afterwards. I think she said they went to lunch or something. So ... An hour nap in the context of all of that, does not seem like a big deal. He just never got over Cabo or her general nonchalant and lazy attitude and the abomination that was her apartment, which is fine. He should have just said that though instead of making it seem as if she did things wrong. Neither of them is wrong but they are not right for each other.

@@BeyzaKalen she talked with them for four hours after working all day and she had somewhere to be that night. I think it’s the mature thing to take a nap so you can be 100 percent for the next thing you have to do. She could get to know them more over the next few days. She had a lot to do so she had to make the most of the time she had. If Tim had communicated, she may have had some coffee but he sat there angry in silence. Not her fault.

I find it interesting that Nick not being attracted to Hannah is such a big deal. The reason these people get engaged on the show is because they are attracted to their partner’s personality, communication style, values, how they are treating others, etc. right? I think it’s the same way in terms of later on. Once they “see” who the person really is in real life. I think that Hannah’s facade was dropped, and she started being extremely cruel. I don’t know how you can be attracted to someone who treats you like that. She talks about getting “the ick” from the dorky things he does, but she makes me sick in talking to him like that. So it might not even be physical attraction that he’s talking about. Also, I think he’s afraid to be honest with her. Speaking from experience, it’s really hard to be honest with people who are emotionally and psychologically abusive.

The responses are actually often more varied than just fight or flight… The Fs are fight, flight, freeze or fawn (some now also include a 5th - flop). Many people don’t know the last two and they are also quite common in threatening or traumatic situations. Women especially can sometimes be hard on themselves for freezing up or for cozying up to an attacker in a dangerous situation, so it’s helpful to spread awareness that these are also very common responses to threats. In an ideal world we could pock the approach that best suits the situation, but as these are usually fairly immediate knee-jerk reactions to very negative stimuli most of is have a go-to based on our trauma response. Mine is freeze, and I’ve come to embrace it as it gives me time to process what’s happening.

For him to then cut off these kids when he decided to film LIB shows a lot about his character and those poor kids are going to grow up knowing he denied knowing them and reducing them to "sperm babies" !

Its really sad that we really try to rationalise obvious abuse. Finding reasons for why is just outrageous. Why are you saying that Nick says things and does things he doesn't believe....whats that got to do with him being abused ? You're kind of brushing over it. If a man spoke to a woman like this, we'd scream abuse but when it's a man, we don't ?! Now he's a people pleaser ? Now he's fake ? What about judging Hannah for the abuser she is ?
