These commercials aired on local Fox affiliate KTVU on March 10th, 1989.
1. "The Woody Woodpecker Show" Commercial Bumper
2. Tyco Military Super Blocks (So this ad is basically saying that the Lego folks were allied with the Russkies?)
3. TV Spot for "Police Academy 6: City Under Siege"
4. Sliders
5. "The Woody Woodpecker Show" Commercial Bumper
6. Lucky Charms
7. Daffodil Day
8. Promo for "The Flintstones" (The sheer variety of programming for my generation is unequaled)
9. "DuckTales" Commercial Bumper
10. Chef Boyardee Dinosaur Pasta (Such a classic commercial. Amazing jingle)
11. Turbo Tricksters
12. McDonald's Mickey's Birthdayland Happy Meal (I definitely had the Donald Duck toy, and maybe a few others)
13. "DuckTales" Commercial Bumpers
14. Anti-Drug PSA ("I learned it by watching you!")
15. Pampers
16. Keds
17. "DuckTales" Commercial Bumpers
18. TV Spot for "The Rescuers"
19. Fruity Pebbles (I've actually never had these. Am I missing much?)
20. Dino-Riders (I had the stegosaurus)
21. "DuckTales" Commercial Bumper
22. Big Brother/Big Sister PSA
23. Jim Rogers: People's Lawyer
24. Skyhawk At Great America (These always looked stupid to me)

About the Fruity Pebbles.... No you didn't miss much at all. I remember they got soggy VERY quickly. And I NEVER thought I would see that Keds commercial again. That tune got stuck in my head.

Since I curl, I would have loved pocket curling in middle school. It's a shame that it never caught on in Texas (or anywhere). As a kid, I never could wrap my head around the idea that that middle-aged nerdy guy was doing drugs. I'm not that naive now, but I still would be very surprised if that guy got busted. Weren't Fred and Barney best friends? Why couldn't Barney ask, or Fred share the cereal? And really, Fred, how often does Barney have to do the same trick before you catch on?

these commericals always put a smile on my face, some one should make an tv chaneel that plays nothing but 80s tv show all day long and for commerical break just play the 80s commericals (it won't happen but nice to dream any way)

I love the retro-formatted TV channels available over the air nowadays (Me TV, Antenna TV, Get TV, etc.), but I do wish they could include some retro commercials in their broadcasts--maybe one or two commercials each half-hour that ran during the original broadcast of that particular episode. I believe the cable channel TV Land did something like that for a while.

"19. Fruity Pebbles (I've actually never had these. Am I missing much?)" The only way I can possibly answer your question is with a question of my own: What kind of 80's enthusiast are you?! You've NEVER had Fruity Pebbles?! The first chance you get after seeing this comment, take your ass to the grocery store and BUY SOME! It's one of the best cereals ever.

One of the classic PSA's of the day. Maybe it's just me, but judging by the dad's eyes, he looked like he'd just finished puffing on a joint before bitching at his kid.

@srkh28 If you search "Dr. Larry Sweet" on google, the fourth result is for a Dr. Lawrence D Sweet, MD, who practices neonatal-perinatal medicine at Kaiser Permanente in San Diego. Almost certainly the same guy. Most testimonials in commercials come from paid actors, but when they list credentials like "Pediatrician"...they're probably not lying.

I love the 80s commercial for Chef Boyardee dinosaur pasta where the kids are hunting for dinosaurs and find them dancing around a volcano. I have to admit though that that tomato and cheese sauce tastes a bit wierd, though not terrible in my opinion.

@GOREG4SM The Keds commercial isn't ripping off Devo's sound. It's using the actual Devo song "Here To Go" (1984) with the word "Keds" in place of "Go". however, the end of the Fruitty Pebbles ad sounds inspired by Devo's work on the "Doctor Detroit" soundtrack (1983).

Whoa, I saw the Keds ad listed in your description and remembered that I liked the jingle when I was a kid. Then when I saw the ad again I realized the jingle is based off Here to Go by Devo! I'm a huge Devo fan and it must have been one of the many ads Mark Mothersbaugh has worked on.

The amusing part about that comment is that putting "that sport where one guy threw a thing that looked like that and the other pushed a broom in front of it" into Google returned the Wiki article for Curling as the first result, and was likely the same back in 2010. When these commercials were aired, yeah, you had to ask people or look it up in the library, but who doesn't think to just start typing into Google this decade?

18. Cool Rescuers re-release. 19. Prior to 1985, they were pretty good. Just 3 flavors/colors. Since then, dozens of recipe changes and the damn stuff gets soggy before you've taken 3 bites! Also, some of the coolest cereal prizes of all time. Coin holders, dino coins, rock ball, trick camera, etc.
