These commercials aired on August 4th, 1984 during the 1984 Olympics on local ABC affiliate KGO. Thanks to my Aunt & Uncle for recording these.
1. Sears
2. Converse
3. Double Mint Gum (What are the odds of two sets of attractive twins running into each other?)
4. Michelob Light
5. Century 21 (I love the gold coat)
6. Promo for "Jessie"
7. Stanley Tools
8. Unisom (Where's the minute long list of all the horrifying side effects?)
9. Miller High Life
10. Kodak Trimprint (There doesn't seem to be a digital-age equivalent to the instant camera)
11. Aetna (It's kind of hard to see, but the old guy on the boat has a pretty incredible mustache)
12. American Express
13. Motivator 650 Battery at Kmart
14. Drunk Driving PSA
15. AT&T (With Cliff Robertson. I love how he walks around other people like a ghost)
16. Minute Maid Orange Juice (I remember the packaging at the end so much. The black and orange carton always reminded me of Halloween)
17. Miller Lite (With former Olympian Bob Beamon. Carl Lewis never broke his long jump record BTW)
18. Lipton Tomato Onion Soup Mix
19. Coca Cola (With Dr. J and Bill Cosby!)
20. Pizza Hut

The don't drink & drive commercial was awesome and would work just as well today. Sad really that so many still haven't gotten that into their skull.

Wow; what a blast from the past! Some real classics in this volume. 1:00--I hadn't heard this Doublemint jingle in ages! Wrigley's has used a lot of great jingles over the years. 1:31, 4:02, and 8:06--Kind of funny how I seem to remember almost all the beer commercials from this period, because in 1984 I was 8 years too young to drink the stuff legally. 2:01--I liked the gold coats too, and the Century 21 jingle. 2:52--Back when all the major networks had gimmicky slogans: "We're with you on ABC with you," "N-B-See Us," and CBS had "We've got the touch" and later "Share the spirit." 4:33--Wow, this is my favorite Kodak commercial EVER! I love the catchy Trimprint jingle. Sadly, the Trimprint line was short-lived, because Kodak was forced to exit the instant camera business a couple years later when they lost that infamous lawsuit filed by Polaroid. 5:04--"Aetna, I'm glad I met 'ya." I don't know what insurance my parents had, but I loved that slogan so much I was almost begging them to get Aetna! 7:05--"Reach out and touch someone"--That jingle was all over TV in the late 1970's and 80's.

This is the best collection of 80's commercials that I've ever seen! And thanks for posting the Bob Beamon commercial 8:08 because that was one of the most heart-touching commericals in history since it was played during the Olympics when Carl Lewis was attempting to break his long jump record.

Yes, despite what some hipsters would have you believe, Converse makes more than just Chuck Taylors. A quick look at their website shows they still make many models of track & tennis shoes that don't look much different than the "Jimmy Connors" model.

i think we all need to remember that each decade has its good and bad points. I was a child in the 80's and I admit that it was a relatively good period of time for me and my family. Was there a mystical element to the 80s? No,But were we still promoting happiness,at least in our commercials and product development like video games, toys, cars, etc, yes. These days there is an overload of self deprecation and reality shows that really just promote misery and pain.I think the 70's and 80s were great

I don't think there is a "digital" equivalent of the trim print, because its not needed. People don't keep little photo's like that, they don't need to, they are on their phone and in fb and the cloud, etc.

3. As I've said millions of times, there's Double Mint commercials with twins wearing bikinis, then there's every thing else. 14. Love that PSA. 16. Misleading claims about orange juice: pulp fiction. 20. Two legends and one legendary soft drink!

That uncredited, non-speaking cameo at 5:21 is *not* OJ Simpson, BTW. He was a national celebrity at this point and was doing commercials for Hertz with Arnold Palmer.

ah, back when we honored our tennis stars with namesake shoes...god, we loved tennis stars back then!! "Jessie"...a little ahead of its time. Psychological profiler show? Innovative for 1984! 9:46 welcome to the best parts of my childhood.

I'm pretty sure I've seen an ad where Dr. J now endorses Dr. Pepper (as part of their "Trust me, I'm a doctor" campaign, which is kind of similar to this ad). Given Cosby's long ties to Coke, I'm betting we won't see him switch over. That family lost a lot of their bargaining position when the little girl screamed "That's our house!" Probably shouldn't say you want it before you hear the cost. Thanks to that drunk driving ad, I was scared to clink glasses for years.

1:27 There are SEVEN sticks of gum in the pack of Wrigley's Spearmint gum. Was that just for the ad? Or were there really that many sticks in each pack back then? Today there is only five I think and it cost more.
