I am so glad I am old enough to remember all of the Guitar Gods from the late 70's to early 90's. Today's generation will NEVER understand what a glorious time it was back in those days. We will never see or hear the same shredding and players like we had back in that generation ever again.

Those blues pentatonics are so spot on it's funny. I was just messing around doing my 80s thing im 59 and I was doing a few variations of that riff. I like the ascending thing on the low strings. classic spot on 80s dude.

Adrian Smith has got to be one of my favorite 80's guitarists. He's not the fastest shredder out there but his technique is so clean and expressive.

Yeah, agree. Loads of practice and repetition, BUT, without a good musical ear and sense of rythm and timing , you would not suceed anyway

Your right hand looks so relaxed. Right hand also picks so efficiently. It almost looks like your hand barely moves as you attack the strings.
