What kid didn't dream of competing in Legends of the Hidden Temple, win a Nick Sweepstakes, or get that sweet ass Toys R Us cart run? I really do miss that time so much. I'm happy now, but those Nick bumpers give me a feeling I can't believe was ever real. Growing up felt so good and I think was a lot less akward for our generation. We knew about respect, freedom, never giving up, being a good friend, and what Saturday night at 8:00 meant. The big orange couch. It's not the kids fault today. It moves too fast for them. We had time to be bored. Last great decade.

This was one of my favorite years from the 90's; Rammstein put out their first album, Chrono Trigger and Donkey Kong Country 2 were available to play, Nickelodeon pretty much unstoppable at putting out great shows, and the first Mortal Kombat film was out (hey, I love that movie haha). Man, I miss being 10 years old, and spending Saturdays at my Grandparent's house. :(

Nickelodeon was the embodiment of the late 80s & early 90s, artistically & phonetically. Why couldn't they stay like that forever? It's still debated over whether The Pebble & the Penguin, Rockadoodle, or A Troll in Central Park was Don Bluth's worst film.

Such a better time. Everything was fun, innocent, and colorful. Ever notice everything now is just turning boring and literally gray. Look at modern McDonald's or Target for example...... Bland, gray, depressing. Life is lacking creativity. I can't think of anything in the past 10 years that has stuck in my head and made me think it was worth remembering forever. Seems we just have phone apps.... So that's pretty much why most of us are here. We have to go back 20+ years and look at things that we can look back on and and feel some sort of happiness

NICE! Great time for Nickelodeon and just everything in general. Where I lived in NJ (where these commercials were from), depending on the town you were in, you either had TCI or Cablevision. TCI had way better channels (as well as Sega Channel I believe), and I was stuck with Cablevision. :( This might have even come from a town that TCI served, they were UA-Columbia Cable before they changed their name. Ribbon Dancer was only on Nickelodeon, the commercial as far as I know. Comix Zone was tough! One life, no continues! GOOD LUCK
