I've always liked red and gold together for Christmas time. You could do a crimson/dark red and a Christmas red with a light gold and a brilliant gold. White or black accent if needed.

I like your method of dipping more than pouring over the ornaments. I did some today with iridescent white, dark purple, gold and turquoise. They are real pretty especially the purple and gold.

They are really very beautiful Fiona, I love them very much!!!. I just purchased some clear glass bulbs or bubbles, I think I like “bubbles” more. Since I have my right hand in a cast, I didn’t think I could do anything with them yet but I think I can do this with my left hand. Wish me luck Fiona. I love the one you held in your hand.

I did some ornaments earlier this week. I poured paint over them, sprayed with varnish. They’re pretty but I think I like yours better. Dipping looks like much more fun! I’ll have to try it. 😊

I absolutely love them! 😍😍😍 You make it look so simple to do, like I could really make something that beautiful! Here in the U.K. we call them baubles but when I lived in Canada, they were referred to as tree ornaments.. either way is understandable ☺️
