So question why did the turbo pick up trucks come with an intercourse but not the forerunners and I notice when I opened the hood to my forerunner after running it it's pretty hot so I'm wondering what would be a good aftermarket upgrade for an intercooler and where could I find properly of course

On naturally aspirated engines intercoolers usually aren’t needed. If you have the factory air box you should be pulling cool outside air in. If you have an aftermarket “cold air intake” you’re probably not pulling cold air in unless you have an air box. Turboed engines need inter coolers because as air goes through the turbo it heats up, because it’s basically running right next to the headers. Sorry for the long ass rant but if you want to keep intake temps down get a snorkel:)

@@hunterbodell1129 okay thanks My 87 Toyota 22RET 4runner is factory turbo and Upgraded with a garret turbo runs great it runs really hot that's one thing I've noticed about it I have a now truly aspirated pickup truck 22R doesn't run that hot not like the 4runner so I'm kind of concerned about you know how do I cool it down more or better I guess adding an new record on it but again they didn't come with the factory 4runners just a question of figuring out why would they not do that must be a reason but thank you I appreciate that
