I remember when this model came out, thinking how ridiculous they were... just a poseur-spec 911 for yuppies. I still feel that way somewhat, however the styling has become much more appealing as I've aged. And become more of a poseur myself. Well done for being ahead of my time, Porsche! 😁

I was fortunate to have purchased one in 89,paid £70.000!, reluctantly had to sell it two years later with only 3000miles on the clock. Do I feel bitter yes! Only got £30.000 for it!! Fab car

It would be kind of cool if you started rating the cars you review and drive based on some of your own criterias Jack (and rank them). A bit complicated if you review some of your friends' cars they want to sell to give a completely honest opinion maybe lol.

I don't shy from saying when I don't like a car.. just look at my 107 SL video! ranking cars is very difficult, because I don't get to spend very much time with them but also because I tend to drive cars I want to drive.. so usually I end up linking them. There are exceptions.. my Maserati for example I was not the greatest fan of.. and the Integrale though nice did not live up to expectations either.

Not so sure, white wheel centres? 20k miles in 30years? I put more on my 3.2 coupe in 1 year. I think there is a reason they only made 2100, you need to have matching white suit, white slip on shoes, gold medalyion, top 3 buttons of shirt open, hairy chest, 50 plus with shoulder length died blond hair. Then you have complete package.

FD3S Amman Agree . I see it and think of Parker and lady Penelope from thunders birds. Amazing for 200k you would be able to buy the 4 generations of air cooled 911. Does not get more pimped up inside red dash and White pipeing on seats. Would have no problem dropping 200k on a car, but this would be wrong, bad luck would follow you, Turbo body with out whale tail and lowered like this, has kit car look, front looks like it's on its bump stops. Defo an investment, but not for petrol head, If you drove this and stopped, people would approach you asking how much for a bag of blow.

Hahaha!! Well yes the 20k miles in 30 years.. well believe it or not that high for a Speedster. I love it and everything you say is just part of the character of the car.. they weren't really made to be driven much.. just for Porsche to get rid of a few of the last 3.2 chassis!
