Interesting facts! About the gravity thing that you said last, I think you might feel the gravity more in Australia because Sri Lanka has one of the least gravitational pulls in the world. Apparently point on the Earth's surface with the lowest gravity is Hiriwadunna in Sri Lanka. 🙂
Ayya, since you just talked about gravity. I am curious to know about driving conditions. Do you feel excessive fuel consumption and tier wastage or any steering difficulties because of gravity?
@chin6493 жыл бұрын
I don’t know about gravity but I can comment on fuel consumption. Most petrol cars here are more than 3L and V6 or V8. Best selling toyota car is camry which is 2.4L. There is a lot of small cars too. But they are all more than 1.6L. They all give excellent fuel economy because there is very less stop-start traffic. Most of the time have to drive at a constant speed unless you are in the middle of the city.

Thank you for your input. I was thinking how fortunate we are to be born in Sri Lanka. Just that the greed for power of certain people have made this a miserable place.

There’s nothing wrong with the Australian weather compared to Sri Lankan weather. You cannot compare and judge based on just these facts. True, geographically SL may be a good country but now, it is hard to make a livelihood there! No way! Which is why now everyone is trying to leave. Even the people who are well off, leaving. Thank you for sharing these videos, people should know there are better places in the world where they can actually “live” their life better and the way they deserve.

The more you move away from the equator, the more the gravitational intesity increases. So, your asssumption is pretty legit.
@ransi_073 жыл бұрын
Could you explain it a little bit more pls... What happens when the gravitational intensity increases? Tnx!
@spicybalz3 жыл бұрын
@@ransi_07 Gravitational intesity refers to the force acting on a bodydue to the attractive force exerted by huge masses (in this case, earth). We refer to this in simpler terms as gravitational acceleration(Basically what newton discovered from the apple incident). This acceleration is much less when our distance from the centre of the Earth is greater and much higher when the distance from the earth’s centre is lower. Therefore the people near the equator(the place with greatest distance fron the earth’s centre) experience less gravitational acceleration. When I say the distance from the centre I mean the distance from the earth’s core. And If you’re wondering if that distance is the same at any point because the earth is a sphere, it’s wrong. The earth is not 100% a sphere although it can be viewed as one overall. It’s more of an egg shape that looks similar to a sphere. This is a huge topic, but I hope my summary helps you.
