@@TopStrikerMaverick Be careful of that carbs... be careful at portions too, and keep measurements, the scale is tricky, you think you didn't lose weight but maybe you build more muscle, so if you feel a little bulky since then maybe that's the reason. Happened to me too, i felt so much slimmer and i saw this on my clothes too but my scale was the same even adding some pounds. I found out that was muscle gaining + losing fat, so my scale was the same but the results were pretty obvious on my body. If this isn't the case talk with a professional, maybe you need something to fit your body, metabolism etc.

I’ve found as a 40 year old male that if you keep you caloric intake roughly around 2 to 2200cals or less per day, strength train at least 3 times per week, and just get outside and walk 3.5 to 5 miles daily, you can pretty much not have to worry about an altered diet as long as you aren’t gorging and eating pizza, as mentioned, for every meal. I don’t drink pop during the week and if I do drink alcohol on the weekends its usually Tequilla and lemon/lime squeeze. The best part about it is to me at least it does not take that much will power which makes it pretty sustainable. This is coming from a guy with a desk job. You won’t lose 5lbs in 2 weeks but you will lose and keep it off if you stick with it over time.

@@alexanderc7213 the sugar in fruit is not “empty” in the way it is when you get it from a soda. Imagine drinking a large apple vs a 12 oz can of coke, both are about the same calories, but which one fills you up? AHHH, my guilty pleasure is beer. True, alcohol can increase fat. It also raises cortisol + estrogen levels and insulin. But only when overly consumed and if you drink the really dark high cal beers creating a calorie surplus. I've been having a couple beers every weekend during my fat loss journey and I've still lost weight and fat. I make sure to count it towards my daily calorie intake and only drink low cal and low carb drinks. Brut, vodka, whiskey, and pinot gris are lowest in cal and carbs. I also drink white claws spiked seltzer once a while. They only have 3g of carbs and 2g of sugar. The only beer I currently drink is Omission golden ale, it has 99 cal and 3 g of carbs x 12 oz. And it actually tastes good for a low cal beer! Just don't go overboard with them. Also, eating protein with fiber with alcohol is best. Think wings celery and carrots without the buffalo sauce and white sauce on the side when eating out.

@@gyamagya19 it's all about calorie deficit anyway. Also there's no way to lose belly fat specifically. You can only reduce overall bf%

Didn’t you say in a different video that diet soda was fine to drink? Now you say soda is bad. Can you clarify, maybe on a future video? Also, if you haven’t already, could you do one on which restaurants to avoid. Maybe even do one on if we should pay attention to the “Eat ThisNot That” books. Love your videos!

What brand of oil mister do you recommend. Everything I find on Amazon sprays out a stream, is easy to break and all sorts of other problems. So what do you recommend that actually works for you.

Good list. I avoid most of these besides pizza which I make at home and peanut butter which I also make by mixing pb2 with water. Should have added donuts on this list to make it a complete 10.

The peanut butter one is the one that confused me the most. I was always told by body builders and fitness buffs that peanut butter on whole grain bread is the best meal to eat before a workout session. So is peanut butter good for you or bad for you? This has baffled me for many years.🤔

Unlike other videos on this channel, this one seems to put heavy emphasis on calorie count, which is not necessarily the most optimal way to weight management. I believe more in calorie quality vs quantity. Yes you need to consume less calories if you want to lose weight, but I'd rather see how these foods affect your fat-burning due to the micro-nutrients they include such as carbohydrates as opposed to how many calories they pack. I still enjoyed this video nonetheless. Thank you for the good content :)
