Finally someone telling whether the plants are toxic to pets. Thank you soooo much. So far I could never use any ideas about plants from other youtubers because they talk about plabts and only tell you if they are toxic in a separate video which they publish 5 years after having recommended the plant in the first place.
@Paula-sw2ttАй бұрын
Lots of KZbinrs tell you if a plant is toxic or not. And you can easily look that up. I did enjoy the video, but will have to disagree that you can't own a toxic plant if you have pets. The exception that I make is NO liles if you have cats. And there are different levels of toxicity in house plants. I have been keeping house plants both toxic and non-toxic, for over fifty years and know how to keep my cats safe.

I really appreciated this list. Ive watched two videos so far and find the information useful as well as thoughtfully presented. You have a good presence too: calm and friendly without being over-the-top energetic. Hoping in the future you might give information on preventing insects with indoor plants or which plants are least prone to infestation. Or incorporating terrariums! TY :-)

What does "medium humidity" and "medium light" mean to you? I have some space in my window to hang plants but it's a north/east side room so there's barely any light getting in here. I have an air humidifier for my instruments so my humidity it relatively constant around 40-60% but the radiator is right below the window/plants so it may be lower in that area. So I don't know what that qualifies at.

Hi! I’m assuming the plants that are toxic to pets are only toxic if they eat them?? Pls correct me if I’m wrong, but I’m just wondering cus my pets never eat anything other than their food so it could possibly be safe for them?
@PoshPennies3 жыл бұрын
Only if they eat them yes :)

@naturegirl3213 жыл бұрын
It’s toxic if they eat it and even then toxicity varies. It doesn’t automatic ah mean they will die. Sometimes it’s just a minor reaction. I have a number of plants that are toxic to dogs and kids. I just make sure the kids and the dogs aren’t eating them.

ok but I want to know if my family is safe from these plants, what if a baby chews on this plants, is it safe for humans? or for our skins in case we got to handle them, maybe prune them or whatever?
@nicoleperron33152 жыл бұрын
You can handle all of these but don't let the baby chew on them. Logic dictates that toxic is toxic. Pick some of the non toxic ones, less to worry about, plants are supposed to make you happy. The string of pearls can drop some peas and I can see a baby accidentally eating those, would be a choking hazard also. I've tried them three times but had no luck with them despite them being easy.
