Using a canoe and trolling motor to access a tough area, I found a food source and share a few tips on scouting for a bow season setup. It was the day to be in the woods, as a 9 point buck showed up and gave me a 10 yard shot.

It’s so nice to watch a video that isn’t filled with crazy music. Thanks for all the work you put in to make these top notch videos.

Thank You Lord, that’s exactly right.. No music, no whispering and no jumping around like you got stinging nettle in your pants. A great hunting video. Congratulations

Hands down the best KZbin hunting videos. No music, no nonsense. Just good ol country boy hunting. I’m embarrassed as to how much time I spend watching your videos though lol

This video was honestly better than some of the bow hunt or die shows

Great job kid! The hunting world needs more videos like this from YOU and not all the over the top hyper marketed goof balls on TV today! I don't buy anything those jokers advertise. Love your style and approach! Keep up the good work!

It sure was a good ride back. Kind of sucked dragging him down that creek, but not a bad problem to have. I'll do it again someday...

Catman Outdoors lol I'll take a hard drag out over coming home empty handed any day lol. I spent the first week deer hunting saw squirrels, went back to the same spot with my 10/22 and Saw nothing but deer. This is not my season. By Halloween last year my biggest buck with a bow hit the ground. I sit over acorns 2 inches thick and nothing rubs scrapes and sign everywhere.

Love your videos. It's refreshing because a lot of hunting videos anymore are people trying to impress the viewers and a lot of unnecessary fillers. Watching yours makes me feel like I was on the hunt with you. Keep up the good work

Your videos are way more knowledgeable then any on the outdoor channel. This is great. Love watching deer die and also learning about little things you point out.

Great work finding the deer and the right spot. I would like to see you gut one and maybe another one of how you process your deer. You narrate your videos perfectly. Like the process you take us on.

Catman Outdoors My uncle in law did the best field dress that I have ever seen. He cut the anus out, then zipped him up, and cleared the diaphram. He then reached in to cut the pipes. Then he lifted the front legs and out came the vitals, got the heart, and liver. Then he lifted one of the hind legs and pulled it opposite where the guts lay. The guts just came out by gravity and didn't even have to touch them. He did this in about 2 minutes. I learned a lot from him and it really works; sometimes I have to cut the membrane along the spine to release. Gravity leverage from a ground field dress.

Great video. I agree with the comment about how it is nice that you don't put music to your videos. I love all the forest sounds and your commentary. That is plenty. I do kind of wish you didn't give away the result in the title though. I love the drama of not knowing whether or not you made a kill. Keep safe and keep 'em coming!

Absolutely awesome video and you're absolutely right. The thing with public land is if you're willing to go the extra mile there are good places with good bucks. Simple fact is most people will not walk more than 50 yards. We use their laziness to our advantage. Hell of a public land buck. Thanks.

The reason why a deer loves the white Oaks is they are sweet to eat it's like cotton candy to a deer and the red Oaks are bitter too them, until it frost on them, but as long as there is white Oaks acorns falling they will eat them. But Congratulations on your big buck!!!
