In 2011 I got my Uncle’s 3Gs and that basically started my online presence. I had a 2nd gen iPod Touch at the time and wanted to use the internet outside of my house. 2013 came around and I bought my first personal phone. The iPhone 5s. Best decision I’ve ever made. This phone lasted me 5 years before buying the XS. MASSIVE upgrade! Even with the lack of headphone jack and becoming accustomed to Touch ID I needed that phone. Currently rocking an iPhone 12 Pro and I’m about to buy the S24 Ultra.

I actually used a HTC Wildfire S in 2016 as my main phone and I loved it. Despite only having android 2.3 it still managed to do everything I wanted it to do. Now I have a Pixel 4 XL & iPhone 11 Pro Max. Weird how things change

Me and my brother had a iPhone 5c in 2015 or 2016. Mine 5c was red and his 5c was green. We had no SIM Card but, we still were amazed by Siri and the internet. Then, my 5c broke and by 2018 my brother had a 2010 4th generation iPod Touch that my dad had kept onto and I had a Nintendo 3DS. Now, I have a iPhone 3GS, 5, 7, and SE 2nd Gen and my brother has a iPhone 11.

My first smartphone was the first Galaxy S, and I got it in 2011 as well as you. It was a very good phone back then, still usable today (basic tasks), it can't handle games anymore however. Now I'm using 2 phones, the S9+ and the XS Max and I can assure you that smartphones changed my life forever.

@talldude123 Nowadays we can use a phone at least 4 years. Doesn't need to change the phone every year or two. I always buy a flagship device and use it for at least 4 years.
