I find it amazing that there's so much content and articles that i doubt there's an Army who has truly seen and read everything. There's always still something left to surprise you once in a while. But what's even more amazing is that BTS' actions are consistent with what they say or with the lore that the fans have built around them. Sometimes I worry that they are trapped in the gilded cage but at the same time I know they are mentally and psychologically "fit" and will be able to carry on. Their company has also looked after them quite well and it sounds like it's got a good family-like culture.

While I find it endearing that you are so interested in finding out more about the boys personally, I really wish you would get more into their music. Their music is what really defines them. These documentaries are great, but they're all just facts, and not all accurate, at that. Their music is them. It's their own thoughts and feelings, so please, dive more into the music! Start at the beginning and work your way through. That's the best way to really get to see how they've progressed and grown over the years.

Dale LaDell, you really haven't watched his videos/ checked out his content, right? Because what you are saying doesn't make sense seeing how he is diving in to their music, like for example he dived into Suga recently, started with his pre debut music and his audition and then started working his way forward . I would really like to know your thoughts as a new ARMY and a mature western man with informed musical taste about WHY there is such negativity and hostility? What do you think lies at the root of ‘hate’ culture? If one doesn’t like something, why the need to diss it with such prejudice and venom?

Well, I didn’t open it with those intentions, especially because frankly, I didn’t think it was as prevalent as it’s being documented in many of these. I think part of it is personality-wise. I would think men are more likely to be the ones to comment their true feelings, especially when it’s something they look down upon or disagree with (for better or for worse). I think that is true with ANYTHING they disagree with, not just BTS. Of course, with yesterday’s racist shooting of 8 Asian Americans in Atlanta, GA and uprise in discrimination against Asian Americans, it could also be related to that. I know there’s just a sense of men not taking seriously those things that women love, no matter what it is (outlined by xCeleste, as well), so their responses will also be immature and condescending. Who knows the location of those tweets? Imagine being someone (who is also ignorant) frustrated about hearing so much about BTS and then read even more about BTS being snubbed. The frustration can then come out in a tweet that shows the ignorance: “Why would BTS win a Grammy when they can’t even perform live without a ton of editing and auto-tune?!” The ignorance shows within their then condescending replies to articles and tweets. I think the area of opportunity is educating everyone about BTS. Let’s not forget that it was only a few months ago that I didn’t even know BTS existed, but that’s likely the American Radio Media’s responsibility (potentially racist, etc.). Just my thoughts!

I wonder what specifically made you OPEN to the music of BTS (obviously foreign, associated with teen girls) when others are just so closed to it before even giving them a proper listen. Is it a personality thing, where as an educator, you’re genuinely curious about something that looks impactful and wholesome? I too was guilty of prejudice before their artistry wowed me. I was never really into pop music, or hip hop, but rather into rock and classical... I keep thinking, how can we help open eyes and ears, especially those of us who are fans of a non-typical demographic- In your case, being a “white mature straight male”? I know you said “education”... and you’re already doing this YT channel. As for the violence against AAPI issue, would you and Trale do a session together? The two of you could do so much as influencers!

Tae and Jimin are both born 1995 so they are the same age but to be precise Jimin is a bit over 2 month older. Jimin is born october 13th 1995 and Tae december 30th 1995. Hobi and RM are both born 1994 but j-hope in febuari and RM in september. In Korea they are seen as same age when born the same year and therefore there are no need for honorifics etc. when talking to eachother. Same age friends can have a much more relaxed "even" relationship, I don't know how to explain it but for example: Suga said once that he is envious of them for having someone the same age in the group that he wished he had that (same age friend) too and Jimin have spoken about how Tae is his only "same age friend" so it's special. It's hard to explain but I think you probably have started to pick up how big a deal age is in Korea. I do wish they would atleast put the honorifics in the eng subtitles when they spoke to eachother because I think it would make it easier for people outside of Korea to understand and maybe also some indication if they speak formal or in banmal because some things and reactions don't make sense unless you know that. BTS in order of age: 1992 Jin 1993 Suga 1994 j-hope 1994 RM 1995 Jimin 1995 Tae 1997 JK

Big Hit itself is not changing its name, so the company BTS and TXT are under is still Big Hit, but the joint label (including Seventeen, ONEUS, GFRIEND, Enhypen etc.) will change their name into HYBE So HYBE will have Big Hit ent, Belift Lab, Pledis etc. companys under its name

Actually J-hope credited 132 songs already. “Dis-ease” was 132 nd. But I don’t know what’s wrong with it.. Maybe KOMCA forgot to add or wrongly counted?.. Cause he participates along with In - House Producers of BigHit and with Namjoon and Yoongi since 2013. And he practically wrote every song. Even in this “BE” album he credited almost every song. Hmm... Will be waiting for next KOMCA update information. I think they must counted wrong.
