@fixitAlex Question after doing this repair, what if it leaks in the from the top after filling up? Do I need to go back and slightly tighten the bolts on the pump? Its not leaking from the grommet its leaking from the middle of the tank.

Unfortunately you will have to drop the tank and check the o-ring gasket to make surebits not damaged or the plastic tubes coming out of the tank

​@@fixitalex1309 It was working for a month no issues filled up 3 times then it started leaking only when I put in 3/4 of a tank. Must be that O ring, I got the heavy duty one from O Rilley's with new bolts. Maybe I didnt screw them down tight enough I didnt want to over torque the last pump I over torqued and bent the top of the pump. New to the channel great content, I appreciate you responding!

@@macdezzo100 possibly, just check the evap hoses while you are there.

I'll never buy a Delphi assembly again. Take a look at the hoses and you'll see why. It's better to reuse the OEM housing and just replace the pump.
