I love outscoring Ka-50 on the A-129 grind in PvE, and now they also added Mi-24 to Italy, also doing it in the Mi-24 Italy really feeling like best NATO heli PvE tree with the only bad heli being the reserve one

@@Bob_Dickinson you kinda learn to do it after playing Heli PvE a whole week nonstop with the previous battlepass to stockgrind the A109 and A129CBT(currently finishing Hungarian Mi24V and should start A129D or Mi24D next week) Hellfires are a blessing in the A129(A129 made me hate TOWs), since you can guide all of them at same time, it gives you a slight advantage over the Ka-50 that can only guide two of them at the same time The reason for this is due to the mediocre zoom of the A129, which while is detrimental in Ground RB, is quite good for Heli PvE to quickly switch between targets while zoomed in to guide multiple Hellfires in quick sucession(I usually fire them with 10 seconds delay between each launch) Flexible 20mm turret with IRST helps engaging Rolands when rushing them at 15mts altitude evading their missiles until you reach 500mts distance and they stop launching missiles at you so you can target lock on them and destroy them with the 20mm without wasting rockets on them(still, the 30mm flexible gun of the Apache or Mi28 should be better at this, Kamovs have semifixed gun so they need to face the Roland directly and they are also very big, so they are not that great for the base rushing strat for when you dont have 8km ATGMs researched), the 20mm gun can load stealth belt and that can be a bit useful for ground rb if an enemy plane goes head on against you and you get an IRST lock on him Also your two Hydra rocket pods +hellfires are enough to destroy a base with two reloads since last major WT update that buffed rocket damage to based For Ground RB the Mistral is quite handy compared to Stingers when they work, a lot more explosive mass helps in securing the kill if the missile manages to hit the target, still, they take the rocket pylon so they can be ignored for Heli PvE since shooting down aircraft gives minimal score for the effort(looking at that Z-10/19 killing 69 planes and still in last place of team in PvE) .50cal gunpods can be safely ignored for both ground rb and heli pve since normal rocket pod or mistral are better choice for the pylon in either gamemode For the A109, is great for low tier Heli PvE, the TOWs are great against Shilkas but tricky to use against Gepards(still, they are the second best ATGM for low tier behind Falanga) and .50cal gunpods are actually useful in low tier Heli PvE since you can penetrate AMX13 side armor so you dont need to waste ATGMs or Hydra rockets on them, your six Hydra rockets can be saved to kill Shot's instead, it pretty much feels like a Mi24D without massive rocket pods and fixed .50cal gun instead of flexible turret So yeah, the only bad Italian heli is the AB205 since there is nothing you can do except scavenge what your teammates left for you with your 14 Hydra rockets and two 7mm miniguns

Another important thing is if you fail to kill a target with a single ATGM, switch target and dont waste a second one on the same target Since kill assist give half the reward of a kill, this means you still get rewarded from every enemy you left damaged for an ally to finish off,while you go for another target to hopefully kill it a single blow this time In the end to give an example, if you fail to get 8 kills in 8 shots and instead get 4 kills in 8 shots, why not try to get 4 kills+4 assist in 8 shots that while is not as rewarding as full 8 kills, is still better than just 4 kills without assists
