Have you seen the full police interviews? And have you seen the more recent interviews with them in prison (in the documentary 'Lost for Life')? Long interviews with Torey's parents too. Incredibly, the parents now claim TOREY is innocent was was totally dominated by Brian. They claim Torey only though tbese videos were goofy pranks. The mom even wrote a book about Torey's 'innocence.'

That's the cruel irony in videos like this. The world would be so much better if we didn't even hear about them here, and they just faded away into forgotten obscurity like the failures and rejects they always were. Instead videos like this give them the shred of infamy they craved their whole lives for, and in their twisted fuckednup world make it all worth it. All that said I'm not bashing the uploader(explore with us), or the crime investigation genre as a whole. Just an observation and realization that it is what it is.

@@maquacr7014 neither of them were my friends. In fact, I had never even spoken to Brian. Brian was in my first period class and that’s the extent of our contact before he committed murder. Torey I knew on a surface level from junior high a few years earlier because we did have a few classes together. We talked occasionally but we were not friends by any means. Torey signed my yearbook in 8th grade and he wrote something disturbing- he told me don’t swear, don’t kill animals and don’t kill anymore people. So in hindsight he definitely had some red flags of being off.

@@danisellers8300 Another question if you don't mind answering: how the hell did they find your address? And what gave them so much confidence that they can get away with killing someone in their own house because these types do not look brave at all? @@maquacr7014 it’s not that hard to find where someone lives in a small town. I’m assuming they looked it up online or they may have followed me because I drove to and from school every day. They would park at the church next to my house and watch to see if the lights turned on and that night the lights were dark in the video because I was in fact gone, along with my family because I had a volleyball game that night. I know they snooped around the house because a few times in august before school I was in my room and saw a flashlight in my window well right as I was about to close my eyes and go to sleep. I ran upstairs and told my parents, but they didn’t believe me and no one went outside to check. I thought well maybe they are right maybe it was just headlights from the neighbors. Then about a week later, it happened again!!! the flashlight shining into my window well and I also heard voices. My room was in the basement, so I ran upstairs and again told my parents. Not surprisingly, They never went and checked. I have very neglectful and abusive parents so it’s not surprising to me that they didn’t go check but that’s a totally different story. When I figured out that my house was filmed by them on their tape from the police, I was shocked and I felt a fear inside that I cannot even put into words because right then I knew…..I knew that I wasn’t crazy….That light shining in my room at night the month before was them! As for the charges, The police told us because they had the videotape as evidence of conspiracy to commit murder, which is very rare to have, that it was unlikely they would need charge them for stalking me and attempting to take my life potentially. They were confident they would go to prison for life with the charges they had. They had a premeditated murder charge and murder against them, so in the end they didn’t need to charge them with what happened to me. I do think that negatively effected me though, as I felt very isolated and like maybe what happened to me wasnt a big deal after all because compared to Cassie it wasn’t. They also told me not to speak about it at school because it was an open investigation and they still weren’t 100percent certain about the charges that would be filed. I fell into the deepest depression and my anxiety was through the roof. Every day at school, I would be looking over my shoulder wondering if their other friends were in on the murder. I often wondered….do they want me dead too? I felt very unsafe, like I had no control over anything. I was offered free counseling from the court system for the rest of high school, but my parents didn’t allow that and unfortunately I never went until I was in my 20’s.

I just watched this and loved it. I read somewhere that the reason they were caught was because since they were at the house they were questioned for being some of the last to see Cassie alive. They both (seperatley) said they were at the movie but not a single one of them could say the plot of the film back to the detective. It's just so perfect. The scream killers getting caught for real because they couldn't describe a movie. So much for writing out all the details of their crime. I'm just glad they are in jail and RIP Cassie.

Imagine Cassie's parents seeing this footage!!! Heartbreaking. I cannot believe his mom wrote a book to defend her son. This makes the case worse... It shouldn't be allowed, they should keep LOW PROFILE at the very least! But they're not doing good to him, helping him grow up and take responsibility for his actions, because no one will never believe he is kind of a victim. They are just very SPOILED dumb kids with NO RESPECT. Same with Chris Watts' mother defending him, when he had everything and murdered his all family, and now he wants to get out because he became religious, and he was fooled by the interrogators to confess lol. I hope they lock them forever and we forget about them. They were old enough to know what they were doing. This case is known only because of the recordings, but they will never have fame like Bundy or Columbine. Why didn't they commit suicide like they claimed in the recordings? Too cowards and full of sh***. I even don't remember their names. Rip Cassie

I’m honestly about as worried about Matt and his mom coping with this, as I am for Cassie’s loved ones! Even though no part of this is actually their fault, I’m sure they both must’ve had their minds completely racked with the guilt of a million *“what if?”* scenarios-after that terrible night!! 😔💔 But most of all, I’m worried about the cousin that found Cassie’s body!🥺 She was only like 13 at the time and excitedly ran inside first, to visit with her cousin…. I seriously can’t even begin to imagine the living nightmare of coming home from a trip, only to find one of my favorite cousins like that (in addition to Cassie’s body having been there a couple days before the family got home to find her). I truly hope all of them have been able to come to terms with the trauma of their loss. And that they have been able to find healthy ways to cope and to continue moving forward. 💔😔

This happened about 2-3 hours from me, my senior year of high school. I’ll never forget it. So many people talked about the fact that there were dozens of red flags beforehand. Numerous students knew that they had talked about murdering people and their obsession with Columbine and the infamy surrounding it. The school, the parents, fellow students etc. all failed miserably. Absolutely insane. Listening to them talk is so gross. They’re actually embarrassing. Unintelligent, they make no sense and have no actual beliefs or train of thought that they are following. They’re both trying so hard to impress the other one and you can tell how insecure and scared of the real world they both are. Neither of them likes themselves or each other. It’s actually pathetic. It’s a shame they were too cowardly to end it the way the Columbine kids did.

One night when we were underage drinking he left the room and went into the kitchen. I went to the toilet and when I came out he had was standing in the hall with a massive kitchen knife. It was 20 years ago so I can’t really remember what happened next but I think I just left without saying anything as I was nearest the front door. We used to speak loads but after that neither of us ever spoke again… I met him a few years ago (20 years later) and he kept apologising about it and seemed really upset about it. It was weird to be so upset about something I’d pretty much forgotten about and all that happened was that he was holding a knife… I think he had planned to kill me but it never happened for whatever reason… the fact we never said anything at the time, went from best friends to never speaking and how sorry he was there was definitely more to it all. This blew my mind, considering I've known about this case for some time and only just recently found out that my dad was close with her.
