Great episode. I just found you and at 56 have never been neutral or classic. Till now most capsules have been either or both. It’s refreshing to see a more general definition of this trend.
@EmilyWheatley3 жыл бұрын
Oh good I'm so glad you liked it. And I love that you said that because I don't think all capsule wardrobes have to be neutral. Thanks so much for your comment Sarah!

Does anyone else get the perfect piece (or a dress or something that you love how it feels and fits) and then you want to buy it in EVERY color they make? I recently found a little swing dress with pockets and now I have 3 of them.....
@katradner91323 жыл бұрын
I love boat neck t-shirts with sleeves hitting around the elbow. Last year I lucked out that one german retailer had that style, so now I own black, white, navy and a light spring-y green. Swing dresses with pockets sound like something else that I'd double up on😊

Totally great concept. Can you do another with examples??

Examples of different types of modules or something more specific?
@ModernClassicLifeStyle3 жыл бұрын
@@EmilyWheatley I was thinking the same thing. I really LOVE your videos, but can we see your clothes or examples of your anchors, etc.? You flash them up really fast, (and we only get to see maybe one image) but a couple of examples is fun to watch. The store layout images were super helpful to make this sink in for me, but would love to see more of your rack, or you wearing them, or you building and layering the pieces. While I really like to see you talking, you could change it up with these visual examples. And hey it's Thursday, I'm here with my Chard again (only 2 sips in I swear!) and can't wait for next weeks drinking video! Again, your content is great - please don't take as criticism, just a way for us to enjoy. And pls help me style outfits for a weekend trip (in another video).
@ifetayodavidson-cade56133 жыл бұрын
@@ModernClassicLifeStyle I agree - the information shared is useful, but given that fashion and KZbin are both visual media, it helps to show photos or videos of the examples, and also people wearing the examples who aren't the host, in order to show a range of bodies. I realize that this makes it more difficult and time consuming to put out a video.

Every other video I have watched to try and help me with my wardrobe is always "These are the exact pieces you need in your closet." or "This is how I did it and btw look at my Cartier bracelet and my collection of Hermes bags. I'm such an influencer!" It is so great to get insight from someone who actually knows the nitty gritty and can translate it in a well thought out and cohesive manner! Thank you so so much!

I am in love!! First time here, never heard the "module" concept before, great content, thanks! I love this kind videos, but i have to confess, being in Brazil is difficult to follow some ideas, down here it is too warm, too hot sometimes, doing a capsule is bit of challenge, especially because Brazilians are too much concerned about clothes and looks. It can be annoying, I feel i was happier when living and dressing up in the UK.

are u on skillshare? I think I would rather if u had like some notes for us to follow or like a check list with pictures to be sure we are doing these things. it seems easy but we may easily forget and get confused. if we continue following this formula we will get it sooner or later. but I love this. and if there are any other organising freaks out there like me, this will help me be more in control.

I would like to see more videos that give an example of what this looks like. I watched a video of yours recently that did this ( I'm assuming it is with your own wardrobe) ...like the footage in this video. But it would be helpful to see more examples...( other people's wardrobes/ styles) . This may not be possible until after places open up more. Just thought I'd let you know what I would like to see more of but really appreciate this approach.

This will be an ongoing topic on my channel and will always show different types of examples. Today's video I just posted will give you some examples of what you can get out of a module.
@almaalcaraz70833 жыл бұрын
Your fashion tips and advices are great. These kinds of videos will be more enjoyable if you have more visual aids like many pictures or videos inserted (for a reasonably prolonged time) while you're talking so you viewers could clearly imagine what you're actually saying. The pictures you showed were too far and too quick for the viewers to absorb. Just a suggestion. Thanks.

I have tried to watch every video you have done. Your hair in this one, your make up and that first look..could not get better. I watch a lot of styling videos, but NO One has inspired me to take everything out of my closet, my drawers and my slide under the bed boxes. I put all the colors together in my closet and now realize most of my clothes are black, tans and browns, greys, some stripes and most of the rest denim. I have some color sprinkled in with scarves, bags, jewelry and a few brighter colors that I kept, but a minimal amount. I never had anything to wear. Now that I have a fourth of what I had before , I look forward to dressing. I bagged up eight bags for give away. The clothes were not bad. They were not my style and I did not even know until I “ met” you. My favorite look is what you have in the intro. I don’t know if that is just a black button up but I love your look . Thanks Emily Wheatley. You are an artist ❤.
