Salep is served with cinnamon, not nutmeg. During my stay in Istanbul found a place that served a "Salepresso", so basically salep mixed with a double espresso. It was really nice imo, since the espresso balances the sweetness.

Ah ok! Yeah actually I made one when I got home with the Picopresso. Very good of course, but still sweet lol

Hi Brodie, I would love to hear more from the history of coffee. Really interested how people brewed coffee in Africa traditionally. Congrats on your channel, a very different aspect of understanding coffee and culture. I'm definitely interested in coffee making without the 21. century equipment, so keep up the good work you do.
