There's the Helen Mirren film The Hundred Foot Journey, has Indian great Om Puri in it. Juhi has a tiny role in it. You should watch it, it's about the culinary tradition, India meets haute cuisine. Juhi was Miss India in 84. Won the Best Costume at the Miss Universe. Wore something like what she's wearing here.

This is an iconic song. Juhi is everything and my fav actress ❤ beautiful, classy, graceful..she was actually Miss India in 1984. People forget that she's very versatile. In the '90s the stereotyped her as a comedic actress because she had great timing.. But she's also a wonderful dramatic actress- some of her less known roles but amazing ones are in 3 Deewarein, My Brother Nikhil, Gulab Gang and some others. Juhi is a better actor than Madhuri- even SRK said Juhi is the onlly actress that is better than him.

Yes! Glad you felt this song! Both singers are incredible, Alka Yagniks range proved she is indeed to be another legendary female playback singer like Lata Ji. However Kumar Sanu proves to be the best 90s evergreen singer and unmatched when it comes to ROMANTIC songs (along with (SAD songs) as he has the most silky and velvety tone that just sounds like a Drunken mans poetry. His voice is soulful and expressive, capable of conveying deep emotions such as love, longing and sorrow. This emotional depth is a key to why his playback singing resonated so well with audiences in the 90s. (not disregarding Udit, Vinod, Abhijeet or Sonu etc)

What I said was..Steven Spielberg was a fan of both Juhi Chawla and Sridevi. He approached Sridevi for Jurassic Park but she refused He approached Juhi Chawla for Hundred Foot Journey and she took it.

Oh gosh, Amir Khan and his waistcoats and his high waistline! 🫣 Those were his staples from the '90s, and not always carried off as well as it was here. But this is just a lovely song, beautifully captured. What nostalgia!

This song was their last priority to shoot or may be not was shooted at the last in city palace udaipur but this song got so hit that they were not expecting and is our childhood loved one song , and ya Juhi Chawla was former miss India too . Juhi Chawla one of my most favorite actresses, especially her comedy and her energy on screen... incredible! You should watch more of her, and also from Sridevi, the best Bollywood actress in comic roles... You can start from Mr. India, a great film made mostly for children, but also adults love it.

I have heard this song many times. But today I paid attention to the video. Everything about that was just amazing. Their outfits, the locations, the canera angles, the Rajasthani culture. Juhi's dance. Alka ji's and kumar sanu's voice.

hi Matthew, this song was hugely popular in the 90's and playback singer Alka Yagnik got a national award for it. Even today this song is as much popular. Also, you are spot on about the Rajasthani theme and the location. BTW, the first song which you played in the background (Dhak Dhak) is not an original Hindi song. It was lifted from the already popular Telugu number from South India - Abbani teeyani debba (kzbin.info/www/bejne/rYaTeaeLZrp5as0). Music was by the one and only Ilayaraja, popularly known as Raja. A lot of his songs were lifted by other music directors from Hindi as well as other regional cinemas, blatantly and without crediting the originals as was the norm in those days. You may think about exploring regional movies and songs also - Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Bengali mainly. I used to be Hindi and Hollywood addict for a long time, but now I am exploring other world movies (European in particular) and also music (Spanish, Tamil and Kannada) more recently.

Do u know.. During the World War II... A very important event happened in england.... An assasination... This was 2nd W war time... So germans spread this news like wildfire across the Europe... N only because of that incident... english were really afraid.. Because first time they realised that they were not safe even in England... So who was that man who got killed... N why that another man killed him... N most important thing why the english vanished this incident from their history books... If u want to know.... U need to see....a movie.. But one condition... Don't watch any trailer or video on internet... Just go blank for this..n if possible take my name in ur review video.... Reply if u wanna know movie Name....
