I totally support this woman but I think she needs to be more politically correct. In her speech she refers to sexuality as "life choice" but the most important thing that most uneducated folks aren't aware of, is that sexuality isn't a choice and is predetermined by birth. Many scientists have seen sexuality in twins, and saw that if one twin is gay then there's an almost guarantee chance that he's gay too. So it's highly offensive to call gays or lesbians a lifestyle choice.
@spandanaparisi15207 жыл бұрын
What I am gonna say is totally irrelevant but... ayeeeee ARMY!!!!
@wordsandwalls4 жыл бұрын
she is politically correct. she has very clearly stated we are as we are, and the choice to express it should be allowed and people need to be tolerant and accepting. Its not highly offensive or even remotely offensive to call it a lifestyle choice. you can be occult LGBTIQ PERSON or open or in the closet or its definitely a choice in those regard. She has stayed true to the topic she is addressing( which is acceptance ) you are taking matter out of context.
@anujpramanik18194 жыл бұрын
@@wordsandwalls It is a distortion of facts to call it a lifestyle choice because then it's implied that one can change such a lifestyle with guidance. If you are involved in policy formulation of such a subject, it's important to understand the biology behind it as well, just like abortion laws.

i agree with her point of view wholeheartedly but i would like to correct her on S.377. The language of the section itself does not speak about sexuality, it does however criminalize non penal-vaginal intercourse meaning thereby everything except vaginal sex including both anal sex as well as fellatio is illegal. These are acts which are not exclusive to the gay community but are also enjoyed by consenting heterosexual couples. So in theory even heterosexual couples indulging in these sexual acts could in theory be prosecuted under S.377 of the IPC. Of course the reality is that this section is used to strike terror in the minds of the gay and bisexual community, but the fact that this provision can potentially be used to control sexual acts performed in private by consenting heterosexuals makes it all the more absurd and draconian !
