J. Warner Wallace is a successful cold case homicide detective from Los Angeles who was an atheist for many years. He decided to put Christianity through the same type of evidentiary tests he put his cold cases through. He converted to Christianity when the evidence led him there. He joins the podcast today to talk about skeptical challenges to New Testament reliability, and how he, as a detective resolved those challenges for himself.

Gospel is a wrong concept as there is no eternal hellfire in reality. There is only reincarnation by reason and evidence There is no such God in existence who is going to put people in eternal hellfire. So, billions of Christians are offending the real God, by bearing false witness against God, that He is an eternal torturer. So, first understand that the reincarnation is the nature of reality, so your belief in Gospel, does not stop your reincarnation. So, you need to know, why you are reincarnating.

Thanks for another great video. People don't disbelieve because they don't have enough good quality information. They don't believe because they simply don't WANT to. It's NOT a head problem (knowledge). It's a heart problem (will). They embrace arguments and presentations that SUPPORT their unwillingness to believe. If they then hear a presentation that refutes their position they simply reject it out of hand as "garbage". They don't even THINK about it. Presenting a critical review of the facts is not a guaranteed "win". More often than not the evidence and facts are just ignored by those who are not in the kingdom. They like to pretend it's about "logic", but in reality they simply don't want to believe. No one was ever "debated" or "argued" into the Kingdom. That's why you can't "evangelise" on social media. God needs to grant repentance, and faith. It's a change of heart, not a change of mind (The renewing of your mind comes later).

I know neither of you are forensic psychologists but Alissa, as an apologist, will you please get a guest on who can help us understand what happened to Ravi Zacharias? I so admired him. I think men need to remember David emphatically confessed and repented. Maybe Ravi did too who knows. But what makes a man act as Ravi did? Is there a purgatory as Catholics believe where we can go to repent of our sins before entering heaven? Does God give us another chance after death? As an abuse survivor, athis point I hope Ravi is in hell experiencing what he did to women all aspects of the abuse, I’m sorry to say.

We don't even have a tomb, so how do you know it's empty? Where is this tomb? They couldn't even find it right after the close of the canon. People went in search for it then and it's nowhere to be found. Also crucified people were usually left on the cross and not buried as part of the torture. and we don't know if Joseph was a real person or even had a tomb or was allowed to have the body of Jesus.

The Gospel of Jesus blood, cross, resurrection that buys you ticket to eternity, is wrong, because you are not separated from God because of Adam's sin, but your own unwillingness to go to God as the Prodigal Son. So, as long as you have outstanding material attachment, you do not go to God. That's the spiritual principle

Jesus told us who our Teacher is when it comes to deciphering the meaning of anything in the Bible and anywhere else. That authority is not part of this world. "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you." Why do people avoid trusting the Holy Spirit? It's because they think that fear of God is a virtue and it makes no sense to ask what you fear for the truth. People fear the world less. Mr. Wallace does say he knew he had to reduce his enmity toward God to be open to the truth. The desire takes us part way. However he still uses the world to connect us with truth when truth is of God and spiritual, not of the world and carnal. Jesus said, " Judge not by appearance but judge by righteous judgment." How do you go further? Forgive everyone.then you will not fear God's judgment. "For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you"

All christian scholars acknowledge that the first gospel, Mark, wasn't written until after the year 70. 40 years after Jesus was crucified. The next gospel, Matthew, wasn't written for at least another 10 yrs. after that. Then Luke was written some time after the year 95. John was written sometime between the first and second centuries. While the author of Luke doesn't write Acts until sometime after the turn of the century. These dates are well established. No scholar ever says that the Gospels or Acts are eyewitness accounts. J. Warner Wallace isn't a historian or NT scholar. But he is a retired detective who is trying to sell books to make money, though. 🤨

God does not require proof. God is truth himself. His truth is not dependent because ten people see it, or a hundred people, or a million people accept it. God itself is the truth. The problem with these Christians is that they have no faith. They want proof, they want a physical resurrection of it, they want miracles, they want signs otherwise they say that is not true..
