This is one of the hardest things of this swing is to keep your self out of it and when you finally do it you tell yourself self I'm gonna hit it again just like that. then you unintentionally mess up trying to make it do it again not realizing to do it again you have to just let it happen and not make it happen ive been practicing alot indoors on trackman and im a 10 handicap in my local trackman leauge and man I find I can drive the ball 283 yards total sometimes and feels like I didn't swing hard at all its really amazing once you can do it I've been practicing this swing over a year and a half now and feel like I can finally let the swing happen instead of forcing it once it warms back up ill be back outside and sending in more videos thanks Jim for the lessons and videos. any one on the fence with this swing should really take the time to learn it success is earned not giving but this swing is so much easier to manage then forcing a traditional swing and not being able to force it the same way every time just learn to set your self up in a way that let's it swing instead of forcing it to swing. It takes some time but I swear it's worth it and jim will really interact with students that take it serious and help you get better. An excellent teacher and golf instructor

Thx. I’m an overthinker including during the swing. I’m now going to focus on “mood” rather than angles, weight shift blah blah blah … 🙏🏼

Hey Jim , my son is a 1 handicap and I’ve been terrible at golf for years . I went out with him after watching and practicing your setup and immediately started hitting solid shots with a little draw . He was impressed. I showed him your videos and he said you definitely knew what your talking about and that he recognized my swing as being much different. Your method has helped me tremendously and I’ve only been practicing it for 3 weeks so far . My normal score was over a 105 now I feel like I can break 90 . You make the swing simple if I just follow your method . My son told me to keep on learning from you because he saw the results. Thank you !!

One of your best advice for the weekend Golfer. The problem is if the setup stance grip and take away all wrong the shot will come out crappy and then the golfer starts tinker and it gets worse. What you teach eliminate some of the issues of not all. Because the stance and and stillness forces the takeaway and the downswing in a certain path and the chances for a good shoot is extremely high. As an engineer I try to apply your method based on your videos that I have seen over and over and I figured out after months of trial and error. For the other that don’t have the time to dissect your Method There only way is to sign up and have you show them the blue print and bring them to their goal to play the best game they can

You already know what it is to interfere. Yes. I took your later lesson about weight on the front foot to 18 holes this week and the consistency was amazing. My usual shot was hook or draw. Now 80% fade, 20% slice. Got home and replayed your 60 second lesson. Damn, forgot about the clockwise hip turn of about 10%. Confident this week's game will create a draw. I just discovered Jim and thought I would try this swing. Some success but my biggest problem was keeping shoulders closed at impact
@jimvenetosgolf Жыл бұрын
My swing path drill will cure that issue for you.

That's something that comes along by repetition and muscle memory; right now, you are ingrained in your old swing. If you swing slower and with concentration on the new position; then your muscle memory will begin to accept the new swing. So, just swing slower and hold the shoulder position, it's ridiculously easy, but you have to erase the existing muscle memory.

Jim, I've been working with this swing for 1 month. I've added 20 yards to my driver but struggling with my irons. I can't stop lifting my head up. Do you have any tips on how to stay down on the shot.

I would really like to know what to do in the back swing. Do I just lift my left arm and bend my right elbow in then let the left arm drop while keeping my shoulders close.
@jimvenetosgolf Жыл бұрын
Negative. It’s much easier than that. Your movements are controlled by your set up position and a focus on stillness. All explained in my school.

Hi Jim! So, I played a lot of good golf for a long time. This is due to a very athletic swing that I got away with when young LOL! I am 52 now and can't Force things like I used to. I gave up playing for a long time but I recently went back to the range and started trying some of your advice. It's working and I am so close to joining your school. I guess my favorite thing about your attitude and method is that I don't have to think or care about swing thoughts! I just want to play and have fun! One question. I noticed that the top of your swing your left hand is what I think they call supinated instead of pronated. You know pronated like rahm and douche Johnson, oops meant Dustin. I tend to do that also and I'm wondering if it matters?

The movement’s of your swing, such as hands, will all change when you learn to set up and focus on our swing thought properly.

When you create good swing path you don’t have to swing hard to create clubhead speed. All displayed in my school.
