What an empowering feeling is to have the ability to recover your relationship. It means that you are no longer consigned to the emotional trashcan of life but now the power is in your hands. What an amazing breakthrough for me personally.

Lovely video content! Apologies for chiming in, I would appreciate your initial thoughts. Have you considered - Millawdon Varied Nights Trick (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now)? It is a great one off guide for learning intimate questions to make your relationship stronger minus the hard work. Ive heard some super things about it and my mate after many years got great results with it.

It's going to be very hard, but I will try this: I will tell him how wonderful he is, how much I love him and am grateful to have him...When we start to have a fight. And keep saying kind things relentlessly, not responding to the mean crap he says, until he calms down. And then we can deal with whatever the fight was about, when he's calm. He has borderline personality, so he really isn't steering when those reactions hit. I was looking for something else to try besides just going silent, mutually. This might work.

I think where you going with this is beautiful. An issue which comes up Alot is when someone very specifically complements their partner - is that their partner takes this as a cue to wage war - "Well, that's lovely - but you don't do it for me! I remember my birthday when you...ect." and they focus on all the negatives they dredge up from the beginning of time...deleting the positives, and in a way making themselves more significant - but in a really negative way? I wonder have you any suggestions when people come back with that response?

I have been doing this, often, from the beginning of our relationship. Unfortunately my partner receives the appreciation, but has never learned to return it to me. At first I didn't notice because it felt so good to be giving out all of that wonderfulness. But now a couple of years in I'm feel unappreciated, ignored and disrespected. I have pointed out the discrepancy and how it makes me feel. He just refuses to give me any acknowledgement or praise. Any ideas?.

I think this might work in some professional couples with no kids case scenario, but its far from the truth of common marriage life. Also, every video I've seen so far seems to fix everything with sex rather than reasoning. With that said I appreciate the video and thank you for trying.
