Wow. I HAD this game. On my first humble Pentium. And I really liked it, too! I haven't thought about it in almost twenty years. As a kid I ripped the graphics, somehow, and made my own little game, also in Klik and Play. I don't remember much about it, but it had a cutscene, with this exchange: SONIC: I'll handle this. Adventure is my middle name! TAILS: I thought "The" was your middle name. An okay gag for an 11 year old, I think.

As such, my answer for that statement would be different depending on the situation. Either way, I still don't know what the post means as I'm pretty sure this channel still does these sorts of videos (or similar). Maybe I'm just reading it wrong...

Too bad, most of the old Sonic fangames are now unavailable to download. I remember there was one game with Eggman, which was Rope Pulling game (Button masher, yeah). Can't remember what the plot was exactly, the graphics were based on Sonic Advance. The first opponent was Charmy, then Cream, Amy, Knuckles, Tails, Sonic, Yourself and Big The Cat for the last. Still. Good thing some old decent fangames are still there, like Sonic Time Attacked.

Years later when I saw what fan games had become I was amazed. These old crummy but kinda fun fan games are roughly where 3D fan games are right now. Well okay they're a little further along now days but you can tell there's a lot of progress to be made before 3D fan games match the level 2D fan games are at.
