Very clever. I love this man. I remember his T.V. show from when I was a kid.

I can't be the only Seeing Eye dog owner who has asked his dog this self-same question. Would he switch with me if he could? He used to point me to where I worked, then he was done for the day. For that he got two good meals plus anything he could find. I got to spend 8 hours dealing with malcontents on the phone, then 16 hours trying to think how to keep ahead of the bills. And that was when I had a job. We both know for a fact he wouldn't change with me.

The mule was a Democrat. He let everyone else do the majority of work while he got the benefit.

Well, mules are half donkey, Democrats use a donkey for their mascot, and Andy Griffith was a Democrat IRL, so there.

@@hotwax9376 Ol' Ang' was a Democrat? Well! That tells us right there, why he didn't use a Gun (Generally speaking), on The Andy Griffith Show. Naw, sir! He was content to catch the bad guys without a Gun, somehow! Now-Ol' Barney Fife was...uh, well... different. He loved being the Deputy, but that lil' Ol' sack of Taters got into more trouble than you can shake a stick at! He was the hilarious, bumbling foil to Andy's calm, well-thought-out way of doin' things. Everybody in good ol' Mayberry was treated with respect by Sheriff Andy Taylor...right down to Otis. Andy and Ol' Barn tried gettin' Otis' attention, time after time, and one time, even stood outside the Jail Cell that Otis was, and sang a sad song, as if Otis hard already died. It worked! Ol' Otis got to cryin' and a'blubberin...and then Andy and Barney knew that they'd done got his attention! This was a great TV Show. This is when People still had Morals, and still respected God. Man, nowadays, I literally wouldn't give ya two cents for the stuff that's on TV!

@@ronaldshank7589 No, really, he was. He cut a web video with Ron Howard in 2008 endorsing Obama and a TV ad for Mike Easley, a Democrat, when he was running for governor of North Carolina in 2000. He even did a commercial promoting Obamacare to seniors. Back in the 80s or early 90s, the Democrats also tried to recruit him to run for the Senate in NC but he declined.

@@hotwax9376 I see. Well, thanks for the update, and you have a nice day! Remember:If you're gonna go outside, take plenty of water with ya. It's hotter than a June Bride out there! At least, it is here where I live. At a little bit past 10:00 this morning, it was already 91° outside. Looks to go 95°-98° today and tomorrow! She'll cool off by the weekend, but until then, plenty of water is the ticket!

@@ronaldshank7589 Where I live, it was well into the 90s yesterday (with lows in the 70s) and the heat index was supposed to get over 100. We're supposed to get it again where I live next week, but today is only in the 80s. And yes, I did make sure to drink lots of cold water.
