This is what I'd call a jewel box: High-end finishes in a compact footprint. A foyer is a must in my neck of the woods; in the winter, we need space for people to remove their messy boots, plus we don't want cold air blowing directly on folks in the living area. Per the floor plan you showed, the utility closet IS for the furnace and water heater; this particular builder apparently doesn't install them in the models. My only quibble (I always have at least one!): Some of the floor vents are placed right where I'd put furniture. Perhaps ceiling vents are an extra-cost option??

I don't care for floor vents at all. Give me wall vents! And no carpet anywhere. No double sinks and medicine cabinets instead of just mirrors on the wall.

I really like that you do not walk into the kitchen! The kitchen is great-quartz is much better than granite, island didn't do double duty by having an appliance or sink in it-so is a great island, assumed open space in floor to ceiling cabinet is for microwave which is a great spot for it. This is a really nice home. Would have been nice if hall bath would have provided a linen/towel closet or cabinet & a spot for freezer in utility room. Wasn't going to mention that-but for $275k I thought I should. Really great not walking into the kitchen!

Glad I’m not the only one who likes rounded corners 🙂 granted it’s “outdated” compared to the 90’ edges but after accidentally knocking my head into my quartz island counter I have a huge appreciation for the less painful alternatives haha

Finally, a reasonably-sized ensuite! We never use a bathtub anyway, and the huge ensuites are enough to turn us off a lot of floorplans. Love the entranceway, but a closet would've been a welcome addition.

I was just about to say no walk-in pantry and then you uncovered the area in the utility room that could be turned into a pantry. All the other bedrooms, closets and bath are a perfect size.

There's definitely a lot to love with this home . . I especially like the touches such as the 3 windows in the living room and the door shapes , that make it look more like a vintage home rather than something that was just built. Very nice features through out . .

I like this layout and for the most part, the finishes. I know I know, people love the wood accent wall behind the TV. I would opt out of it if that's possible. Just looks like used pallets to me. Sorry, I lived through the 70's and don't enjoy that look as much as some do. I'd go for a much more polished look. Just me.

Love the black and white exterior, the front porch, the foyer and the basic layout. That said, for the price, I would want a linen/towel closet for the hall bath, a pantry, an outlet in the utility room closet for a chest freezer and shelving. Ooooo! I love a BIG front porch!! VERY nice!!!! Awww, man! Floor vents!!! NO!!! 😥😥 Mr. Chase.........can you ask these companies if they can put the vents in the ceiling instead of the floor, as a option perhaps? I'd like to know. The old fashioned window frames are extremely sweet! Love the dark counter top in the hall bath. Very nice. I'd have that all through the house. Aside from the floor vents and modern furniture, I like this one!!!

It's a nice reasonable size home. I also like the narrow space as you open the front door. I don't want anyone seeing the entire living room and kitchen as you enter the front door! Maybe I'm just paranoid, maybe just being extra careful?! Either way it's a beautiful place thanks for caring and sharing ☺️❤️

Chance ol buddy, my wife and I love your videos and the houses you show and especially that you are a Christian and a family man..back to the house, we don't particularly care for the layout of this home, we like the open floor plan and like to see the kitchen upon entry, plus, we like the quartz countertops but we like them to match ..plus, the built-in for the TV that doesn't go to the floor seems a waste...keep up the great videos and keep it fun

Loved the foyer! Loved the living room! Loved the storage and sink in the laundry room. That one kids’ room was a great size. The kitchen was on. No pantry! No coat closet! Disappointed in the master bath As usual. 🤣 The porch was nice.

With a stackable washer/dryer, you could have a 2nd fridge or freezer in the laundry room and easily fit that lovely double-door closet as a pantry (even though it is a little distance from the kitchen).

Hey Chance! Nice house! The floorplan shows that the water heater and furnace will be in that closet in the utility room. The walls in the dining room and kitchen would make great places to hang your pictures, just like they have pictures hanging - great idea! Anyway, things I'd change. #1) I'd put a gas/butane fireplace in the living room, there where the TV is; or even a wood-burning stove if possible. I don't think I'd put the wood accent wall behind the TV though. Didn't like it all that much. Carpet in the Living Room and Bedrooms only. #2) A slightly smaller island with wheels on it. Don't need the dishwasher, put another cabinet there. No pantry - don't like that! I'd put in a lazy Susan in that corner cabinet. Have to build a pantry in the garage I guess. Need a place to put a freezer as well. #3) If a person was gonna stay with the black and white colors, you'd want the back door to be black instead of white to match the black windows and black front door. I think it actually looks pretty good, but neither color is a favorite of my husband's so...we'd see I guess. #4) Of course, I'd turn one of the guest bedrooms into my Library Music Studio Office Room, with a small sitting area with a carpet. That guest bathroom is very nice! Good room for the commode and a big sink and counter space! #5) I like that the Master Closet isn't in the bathroom. Love that big sink and counter space in the Master Bathroom, it's like the one in the guest bathroom. I think there might actually be room around the commode area for me too, which doesn't happen very often! I like that shower; there's even a door and bench seat. But there's no tub, and nowhere to put one! So the shower would have to go. Instead we'd put in a handicapped tub/shower combo. Of course, we'd add a garage and storage area inside it where we'd put the Pantry and a freezer. That front porch is nice, I like it. But it needs to go all the way around the house, to the garage. Some would just be covered, like this front porch, and some would be enclosed. Good video! God bless you and your family, Chance!
