Hey man I love your videos. I took a discovery flight yesterday and got to fly and I love it. I'm really thinking about starting flight school. How long did it take for you to get a private pilot's license?

Hunter Smith that's awesome! Congrats on that first flight. It took me about a year because I started when I was 16 but had to wait to turn 17 to legally become a private pilot. It can be done in as little as a month or two if you really dedicate a lot of time towards it.

Any chance you know of a budget way for a 28 year old single dad with Sailplane experience to get into powered flying in the Spokane Washington area? I wanna move south to Miami one day but stuck here at the moment going to community for welding😑

BigTurboGT While I am not in the Washington area, I can tell you how I pursued flight school on a budget. I drove around and visited the local airports and almost every one of them had a CFI. I found the one that had a Cessna 152 (which is probably the cheapest plane to rent and my favorite one to fly) allowed me to pay by the lesson versus the ones that wanted me to attend full time like a college and apply for student loans. I was able to do lessons weekly at a pace I could afford without having to apply for student loans and stuff. Go hang out at your local airports and you'll find a way I promise.
