Albert Hamilton Fish (May 19, 1870 - January 16, 1936) was an American sado-masochistic serial killer and cannibal. He was also known as the Gray Man, the Werewolf of Wysteria and possibly the Brooklyn Vampire. The horrific true story of elderly cannibal, sadomasochist, and serial killer, who lured children to their deaths in Depression-era New York City.

Also he was smart enough to con ppl, cover his tracks, had it not been for his vile, evilness and getting off on writing sicko letters, he would have more than likely died of old age nobody ever knowing the depths of his depravity. Don’t understand the Courts bothering to determine whether a Predator/Killer/Molester.... is mentally insane or not. Why does it even matter? The Crimes speak for themselves... just off em already. Are LE Officials embarrassed that Sociopaths operate from a higher Brain 🧠 functioning frequency that those not constantly plotting crimes and Evil can never obtain? Media has shown that the most notorious Serials K’s would’ve never gotten caught if they hadn’t decided to help Police or V relatives of their Crimes.👈🏻 Is this guilt? No! It seems most just get bored with how “EASY” killing for decades and not getting caught has been for them and they eventually lose passion for it. They learn, those tasked and paid to catch criminals like themselves... are NOT trained, NOT qualified and really are forced by “SUPERIORS” to focus more....👈🏻 on lesser ENEMIES who are not.... respectable appearing... I have no idea why insanity is a valid argument. I don’t give a flying fuck if you’re crazy or not you need to be locked away for life. If you’re legitimately crazy that should be even more reason to lock them up since they can’t control themselves.
@JosephKulik2016
@JosephKulik2016 3 жыл бұрын
@@enshk79 Your comment is very contradictory. The very reason that insanity is a valid defense is because mentally ill people are not locked up by society before they commit a serious crime. A year ago, I heard a former mayor of Los Angeles say that the biggest problem facing police nationwide is their inability to take mentally ill people off the streets before they do commit a serious crime. In Albert Fish's time like today, society ignores mentally ill people and then just throws them into prison when it's too late, much too late for any lives that were lost as a result of society's neglect. ... jkulik919@gmail.com

None of us have been sent off to an orphanage where we were beaten and molested daily, so without that it's very difficult to grasp what your disposition would be to tell right from wrong. You think it's evil because that's what you were taught. He was taught to molest and be horrible to children.

There’s nothing better than knowing, that in the end, it was his own damn letter to Grace Budd’s poor grieving mother with all those horrific details and gloating about what he’d done got him caught!!! I can’t imagine what that family went through, let alone all the other victims and their families 😢 At least they were able to find her skeletal remains to give Grace a proper burial and lay her to rest. (Not that it makes anything better, but so many times you hear that they never find the remains OR the killer SELFISHLY keeps the location hidden to themselves and takes it to their graves just to torture the victim’s/family even more.)

You completely missed the point, we all in some ways, some in tremendous ways go through trauma and insane stuff in our lives, the past that this man lived, with a family completly insane is no excuse. At least compared to us, who never went though such thing, we cant never fully comprehend such. But, i also heard horrible and traumatic stories of other people who went through hell, even more terrible than his, and still choose not to let insanity rule them completly. The man must have been surely sick but nothin can exempt him from what he did. He knew what he was doing, and even if he didnt, he was too gone far to stop it. Still blood lays on his hands

@@простомуслима now, talking on a spiritual/occult view, one can state that he went insane to the point of being possessed. Even if we come down to a spiritual view, it is said that the Devil is indeed a gentleman, and it will never force himself on you, unless u let him. And the devil often attacks man through weakness, pain and through their deepest desires. It is also said in the bible:" we are fighting not against flesh and blood, but against all the evil spirits and principalities of the unseen world". Now, religious or not, we cant deny that some people actually become so evil to the point that we question if they are human. When I was around 9 I found a big Readers Digest book Murders A-Z, in my Dads office I began looking through it and Albert Fish, his story was in there, I was HORRIFIED, I had nightmares, my Dad was so upset that I had climbed up to the top shelf to get that book, and felt bad. Over the years I have now & then read or listen to podcast, it still upsets me to this day, I love true crime but this story, I believe is a story of pure evil. You have even provided info that I never knew! Which enforced why they will not make a TRUE story of this vile man's life. I know there is a made for TV movie, but it, and maybe it should not be told , never touched on the HORRIFIC EVIL, this man did! I have heard it will not be done out of respect for his last victims family. I really do not think ppl would even believe the things this creature of evil was capble of. If anyone ever doubts that evil, pure unadulterated evil, demons do not exist this man, his acts would change their minds. I still shiver, feel sick, feel unclean, cry for his victims to this day. I was not going to watch this but I did knowing how you present yr vedios I felt I could, I still felt nauseous, still cried but yr touch made it a well informed story of a true demonic soul.

Truly horrifying account Oddie. Truly horrifying. I feel like this individual was predisposed to be become the monster. A case where mayhaps he should not have even been born. A lot have mentioned his time in the orphanage, however I also believe his family insanity and whatnot played a big part in his character development being skewed. It makes one wonder "would" he have been different had he not spent time in the orphanage?
@cmont4064
@cmont4064 3 жыл бұрын
More than likely the orphanage only fed in to his true nature. Sadly he was not the only child that was abused in that manner, the fact that he took to harming other children their instead of being revolted by the harm, not wanting to protect the other children says alot. Very few if any other child went on to doing HORRENDOUS things he did to children. Strangely he did not harm his own children as he did soo many others, he had them inflict severe pain on HIM! For me that question the whole insanity issues, he knew not to mutilate, sexually abuse plus other horrific acts on to his own children goes out the window, I TRULY believe he was pure evil, he scared, still does the hell out of me. I would even go so far as to call him a demonic , evil soul through and through. I never call him human.

First of all this was so so disturbing , those poor innocent children. How those that lived must of been traumatised for life. Hope that did not cause,any of them to become well evil. Next I am curious as to what happen to his children especially when he was locked up for a few weeks before and then when he got into trouble for some other crimes. I know you said his son was sending him a check at the boarding house where he was arrested. Surely his children as they got older had to have noticed something strange. How did they turn out coming from a family of mental illness. And then their dad the ultimate insane evil bastatd. I wonder if they were freaked out,totally ashamed when it all came out in the trial. If I was them I would have changed my name And my birth certificate also . That name would no longer be associated with me. And if I had not had any children yet I would. get myself fixed. Not taking any DNA chances of the dice to pass on those genes. Sorry so long but these kinda gruesome cases just send my heart ,mind and soul spiraling In so many directions. You do have talent sir. How do you portray those characters so well And it not affect you. I honestly felt you where Albert when you were reading that letter. Sent shudders up my spine. As one person commented hope you take some time to cleanse your heart and mind. Best to you.These cases help to remind us all that evil truly exist. God Bless you for reminding us. Thank you for pointing out about the daughter. Sometimes I watch these and only listen when my eyes are tired. Yes it was hard for his children to probably accept but it did say that when they were younger he would have them help him punish himself. I would never have some that but I could see some of my siblings complying if we were in that situation . So children can be different. Yes odd he did not hurt his own children. I quess his one redeeming quality though still does not even compare to all his monstrous acts. Still we do not know for sure what he did do And did not do. Yes all the horrible things done to him as a child plus all the mental issues In His family contributed to his evil ways. This case raises so many legal, medical and social issues.

So..About 5 years ago I worked as a mental health attendant in my local hospital, and had a young boy about 19 come in for psychosis,delusions, dark fantasies, and violence. he was very polite and well dressed, did not give me a problem my whole shift. Weirdly enough, his name was Audi. After calmly describing to me how he was there because he got caught slicing his girlfriend with a knife during intercourse, i was a bit startled that he appeared so well-mannered. Then I saw the personality flip. When I called him by his name he informed me that his name was Mr. Albert Fish, and that he would like some privacy for a few moments. I was not allowed to leave him unattended and asked him what he needed to do? (Needed to know if he had to use the restroom) He then told me he needed to punish himself because he had been a very bad boy. I had to immediately order to have hin restrained and spent the last hour of my shift dumbfounded at the things he told me. So being my curious self, when I got home I googled if Albert Fish was indeed a real person or just the name of his alter-ego. I was DISGUSTED when I found out exactly who Albert Fish was. Ever since, it has always bothered me wondering what exactly that boy may have done to people if Fish was who he idolized. Makes me sick to think about it.

Honestly, though I am a fan of the macabre and of murder mysteries, there are truly some cases of murder that I don't think I'd be able to manage learning about if it weren't for Oddie. I'm a relatively new fan, only having discovered Oddie this year, but I have learned a good deal about some rather creepy and unusual things on this journey. I must say that one of my favourites so far has been the one about Countess Elizabeth Bathory. I first learned about her from a funny little movie called "The Werewolf vs The Vampire Women" which was a horrible butchering of a film in a cult favourite film series that I can't recall the name of at the moment. In any case, I love your attention to detail, Oddie, and I must say that the atmosphere of your creations often sends chills down my spine! If that's not a ringing endorsement, I'm not sure what is! What I am sure of is that you should continue creating your content for as long as you have the desire to do so, because I'm obviously only the latest in a long line of eager fans held rapt by your voice as much as by your visuals.

Holy cow... Oddie this is without words. Nothing within everything you researched and showed us so far compares to this. It must have taken you a lot to do the presentation and narration. Now we all know what real evil is and will surely not forget ever. Respect (at the moment I am truely lacking English, even in my native language I would have difficulties... since you live in Switzerland you might understand what I mean by saying Respekt in german)

This was so creepy that the hair in the back of my head were standing up! Goodness! What I find really scary is the fact that these monsters are very real and they simply camouflage and walk and live among normal people! Oddity, thank you. I might have nightmares tonight, but it’s ok, I certainly enjoyed this story. Regards!

It's truly one of the worst cases I ever read, and I've covered some pretty horrible cases in the course of my work. I lean toward the opinion of Fish being deranged, but sane. The fact Fish went to such lengths to plan and conceal his crimes tell me that he knew his actions were wrong. As usual, your narration was great along with the video animations. Your version of Fish's voice was truly chilling. I don't blame your cat from getting upset!

Everytime I see his image, you would never assume he was such a sadistic monster. He is on par with Dahmer's sheer lack of humanity in my opinion. Zero need for humans other than tools to be used then discarded. Well done and thank you for being a sensitive soul. There is a lack of them in this world ♥️

This has got to be the most horrific story of a killer I’ve ever heard. Makes me question what parents of grace were thinking. Why would they let her go with a stranger!! You don’t trust anyone specially strangers with your children. This story was just absolutely scary. That evil monster. Poor families and kids affected
@cmont4064
@cmont4064 3 жыл бұрын
Please do not blame Graces parents, it was a different era. Would you let your child go camping with yr child best friend from school? After talking with the parents, meeting them, even having them over for dinner? They did all of that that demon had been a visitor in their home, had eaten with him etc. What that family endured for the rest of their lives I wouldn't wish on anyone, her mother not being able to read, having Graces brother read that HORRIFIC letter, could you imagine, and nobody you, myself, much let alone anyone else could know, could ever think of , what that disgusting, vile, demon did to poor Grace or all the other children he harmed, killed, ate. I am nauseous just thinking about it, to this day I cannot fathom such horrific , disgusting acts he did to so many, their is really so much more to his story
