One time we were up at the family cabin in Gunnison Colorado. Driving down the road we came across a still Steaming Pile of Bear Scat . Right in the middle of the road 😂😏

Thanks for the hike Cliff. Cool how the goat got up on a tree log to get a better look at you. The surprise tracks were neat too. Can't say I would recommend that trail (because of the extensive H/way walk) to adults with children along.

How beautiful was that scenery. Those goats were so cute. The whole trail was just lovely, I so enjoyed it. Thanks for taking me along. Please stay safe and take care

I had to look on a map to see where you were. Wow, I think those trails were made for the uber rich that live in that area. Stay well and be safe.

So far it's been vastly different from the AT, lots of road walking and houses. Can't wait to see what else the Horseshoe Trail has to offer. It's not bad, just different. The abandoned RR rails still being there was a shock. That almost never happens. I have been following Hiking Dancer on her 2022 AT thru hike. She made it! Summited Baxter Peak/Katahdin, then flew home to Florida...just in time for Hurricane Ian. 🫤 Thanks for the hike! For the moment I have to hike vicariously through you and a few others. Gotta get back out there soon. See some fall colors hopefully.

Hi Cliff, some nice sections on this hike, with the school parking why not phone them to ask if you can park, at least you will know the situation and won't get in trouble if you have gained permission. Thank you for sharing, much love. xx ❤

I didn't realize how long that trail is. Thanks TWW, I'll never eat Cocoa Puffs again, lol. Love horses and goats...alpaca's are cool too. I didn't realize there was an abandoned rails there either, cool! Oooof, sorry about your leg. 😞 Great vid!

Too bad the state doesn't allow E-scooters on the unpaved trails. It would make your walk back to Naomi so much more quicker. Great video! Loved that one old farm with the barn. Ya can take me away from the farm, but ya can't take the farm out of my heart.

Sorry to disagree but there is too much civilization, too many roads and not very well maintained. It’s nice to go with you and not put up with that.
