Chito is the most underserving challenger since september only. Not as long ago as you'd think bc Strickland won and then everyone forgets.

Colby? He had 2 more before it and never even won any of them. Strickland definitely didnt deserve a title shot, but at least he didn't end up a journeyman for life after his 3rd attempt 😂😂😂.

@@trinidaddy Stricklands title fight was short notice that doesn’t really count in the line of undeserved shots, it’s not like the company made him first choice like Colby and Chito when there were other contenders

"This means that if you can draw your opponent into shooting a hard rear hand punch first, and he doesn't knock you out, you are almost guaranteed a free shot at his jaw on the open side" unless he's tony ferguson and just dark souls rolls away. follow the momentum and don't reset
@quentinemole2106 ай бұрын
Gennady Golovkin would also follow the momentum when he overcomitted by stepping through into a south paw stance and throwing a right hand jab as a smoke screen. Kind of genius. Helps that both our examples had granite chins though.

I'm less than an amateur in boxing, but I see that, most of the times, fighters drop their hands after throwing punches and/or combinations, in box, the couch will slap the shit out of you everytime you drop your hands: "hands up all at time inside the ring, thow a punch and immediately bring your hand up and protect yourself" he said.

Most undeserving title challenger since O'Malley
@thegrinderman10906 ай бұрын
Jose Aldo got the vacant title shot against Yan after back to back losses against Volk (at FW) and Moraes. Moraes then went on a 7 fight streak of being KO'd or TKO'd.
@The31st6 ай бұрын
@@krisjohnston5569 Yan was the only ranked guy he beat in the 3 years after losing to Chito, and I watched that fight again yesterday. Yan smashed O'Malley. He couldn't even stand up by himself after r3. If that was 5 rounds I'm not sure O'Malley makes the bell for the 4th.

Oh, you're not even engaging in logical conversation, just fanboy speak with no evidence. Let me put it simply. Colby beats jorge = title shot Islam beats hangman = title shot Alex beats strickland = title shot But for some reason omalley is the least deserving for getting a ud over the former champion who was ranked highly pound for pound, despite any of your personal feelings about the fight that has no effect on the professional judges decisions. Almost as if you’re making an emotional statement and desperately grasping at straws to attempt and fail at proving it. Its crazy how even on the jackslack channel people resort to the low lq tactic of crying about fighters they hate without actually using any sound reasoning to back it up. Makes sense why most people want nothing to do with the mma community.

@P.Convenience6 ай бұрын
@jackslack7786 that's fair but champs pick fights all the time. GSP v Nick Diaz - Did he earn it? Bisping wanting his first defense to be against Hendo - was Hendo #1 contender? Let's not pretend that the UFC is a meritocracy. I feel like my point stands
@trinidaddy6 ай бұрын
@@jackslack7786 crazy how sean got more hate for an undeserved title shot than chito is right now when his last fight at the time was a decision win over the previous champion. Almost as if people are mad about things that have nothing to do with fighting, but they try to insert it into that context to validate why they should be angry at that person.
