Won't say what the very best relic is, but... Just know there are only 4 of them in the whole game. 19:51 Nah. Look closer. It says "AA AAA AAAA A". I feel bad for pointing it out, but it is a minor touch so... Blue Lake is directly above City of Tears. That is there all the rain comes from. No. You don't need a double jump to go from Salubra's shop to Blue Lake. Just use crystal dash on Gruz Mother's arena. Orange =/= Infection. If eyes are orange, it's 100% Infection. In case of Maggots, it was their flesh. Personal opinion... Failed Champion is one of the hardest dream rematches in the whole game. To this day, I can only beat him with a VERY specific charm setup. Don't underestimate Grimmchild... It's a great companion. At his strongest, he is arguably THE best companion - high damage and aerial damage. Just know. While many people may complain that you are doing a lot of minor stuff and/or do so-called "wrong" things, that is the beauty of the game. There are so many things you can do, and all has its own rewards that make you stronger. So don't blindly follow that advice... But don't ignore it either.

Descending Dark is useful because it grants temporary invincibility during use. Basically, you can come plummeting down on a huge crowd of enemies, sneeze, accidentally drop your controller and still not take damage after you pick it back up. TIP: Also, Grimm's quest is not to be ignored. He will reward you with something very nice later.

Dreamnailing the spirits in the spirit's gale will kill it. The spirit that threatened you not to do that will attack you. He is unkillable and you need to leave the screen before returning. After returning he will forgot all the spirits you killed. If you kill all the spirts you will finally be able to kill the last one.

It’s so good to see more Hollow Knight! More tips! 1.) The Grimmchild does indeed get stronger the more you collect the flames. In fact it can do damage if you have it equipped now! (Similar to the Glowing Womb but won’t take up SOUL so that’s a benefit) 2.) That Dreamer you saw (specifically Lurien the Watcher) isn’t underwater. If you remember the monument to the Dreamers, each of their descriptions tells you where they are. 3.) You’re close to seeing what happens with Milliebelle the Banker. Give her 300 more geo then sit at a bench and comeback to see her. (But before you do this have the Grimmchild equipped when you’re going to talk to her) Great work and good luck!

Great video like always Merg! Something I recommend with Failed Champion and with bosses in general is to use spells, especially Descending Dark because it has some invincibility frames and does a ton of damage. Also, equip Dreamwielder and use the dreamnail when he staggers cause that's the best way of recovering soul. I'm pretty impressed with how far you've come! Keep going :')

I think that the Failed Champion is supposed to be the dream world version of the False Knight since the False Knight was a maggot, the creature you dream nail to enter the dream with the Failed Champion, in a suit of armor. It's similar to how you fought the Soul Tyrant in the real world then you did a harder version of the fight in his dreams. I can't wait for the next episode
