The Mavs winning this series is just another example of Jason Kidd evolving. I watched him when he was playing for UC Berkeley. He was known for being a passer/playmaker, but became a better shooter and retired no 3 in 3 point shots made. He was Oscar Robertson's heir apparent (triple double machine) long before Russell Westbrook. When he arrived in Dallas for his second stint, Jason Kidd was not only a triple double a game Point Guard, he had become a great defender. Even how he coached Milwaukee was different than how he's coaching the Mavericks. Jason Kidd's greatest strength is that he's still willing to learn , evolve and improve.

As fans of Arizona sports, we live by a motto: We can’t have nice things. we are ALWAYS left disappointed, but never surprised. This year, the cardinals hot start to end of season collapse and franchise-record best Suns to completely shut down and quit round 2. If my AZ teams don’t disappoint, it’s cause they have a losing record. We cannot win anything in Arizona. It’s depressing..

What I saw happening in the beginning of the game was booker driving into guys, initiating the contact, and throwing up wild shots thinking the refs were going to call a foul. The refs don’t call it when the offender creates the contact. It’s also why harden has been ineffective in the postseason for the past few years, in my opinion.

The Warriors "answer for Luka" is rotating Draymond (similar size, brilliant defender), 2 Way Wigs (long, athletic can contest without leaving his feet) and Klay (working his way back ELITE defender, who still has the knowledge... Luka plays mind games with defenders doesn't blow by them with speed... Klay doesn't need his 100% quickness back)... No one is stopping Luka, but the warriors have plenty that can bother Luka.... more intersting question, who gets more techs this series, Luka or Dyamond?

Neither one of them are. Booker is supposed to be. He's the one that was in the conversation for MVP all season. But Booker is just like Harden and Westbrook: he has to take a LOT of shots to get his points, and he can't play much D. The Mavs won when they shoved Booker around, and he wilted. He can't play the entire game when he's being forced to guard someone.
