A fond farewell to my Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow!

Interesting video, but far too short. Would loved to have learned much more about this series one Silver Shadow. Especially the engine, and just how long she has been sitting?. The sad 😢reality is the cost of bringing the example back to its former glory Would be very expensive indeed. I myself would sell it as a donor car ,for parts only. This is now where it's value how lays !...

Hi Alan, glad you enjoyed the video. I totally agree the video could have being longer but that is the only footage I have of the car without repeating myself. The car would have cost too much to get it back on the road, so I sold it to flying spares who will recycle it and keep others on the road. Glad you enjoyed, much appreciated.👍

In America I restore to 1973 Silver Shadows. One cost me $70,000 the other $60,000 by the time they were both restored I sent them off to states away for Consignment sale in running and driving condition promised I would receive $20,000 for each one long story short I barely received 20,000 for both of them but I did purchase a brand new 1976 Chevrolet Caprice with only $1,600 Mi on it for 14,000. The Chevrolet is now worth more than the Shadows. I got over Rolls-Royce disease I kept one Silver Spirit it's been parked for 12 years I mainly focus on American cars cuz they just don't eat quite as much money. And it's so dangerous in American now to look like you have a lot of money you'll get killed for it. Your shadows were truly beautiful. I enjoyed driving them got over 100,000 Rolls-Royce miles under my belt with between my three rolls royces I've had. I love the two-tone color combination I wanted to do that to one of my Shadows. My next Rolls-Royce I hope to be a kamarg in which I'll do a total customization job to it nothing original I may do that someday if I move to Russia and find one already over there. It's hard to import cars to that country it's extremely expensive to get the taxes paid for.
