I'm not defending the Chevy but that transmission is long gone out of the trucks. They're essentially using the same tranny as ford for the past 4 or 5 years

Ford and gm developed this transmission together, it was first used in the 2017 zl1 camaro. Transmission is bulletproof.

Fun to see a hardcore Ford guy pitch a Chevy. As a GM now its gm.... as a loyalist I was going to hate it for the comparison to Ram and Fords 2 top trucks. for the money. But it was explained well, you get a lot for the money. I can see folks with money could easily adjustify and want to own this truck. This is what gm should have built to answer the other 2 manufactures and brought it in for $145k.

This is the Fox Factory Chevrolet Silverado! And for $210,000 you are getting a lot. Taking a look at the front you will notice a completely carbon fiber hood, heat extractors, tubular front bumper, Nacho lights, and more. Money is spent well on the wheels, tires, and suspension. For tires you get a set of 37 inch BFG AT K02 tires. For wheels you are getting Method Forged wheels with bead grip technology. For the suspension it is a long travel suspension system that is co-engineered with Baja Kits. With this you also get the best shock absorbers that money can buy, the Fox Live Valve suspension. And with all of that you get the beefed up tie rods and billet aluminum upper control arms. Underneath the hood of this truck is a 6.2 liter engine that is Supercharged!

It’s one of those items that whoever complain about the price is the one who usually can’t afford it. If I was a millionaire and living comfortably and not having to worry about money. I would absolutely buy it, what’s there not to love about the car except for the price. Time is tough, money is hard to make so people are very tight with the money. They want the best for their money!!! BUT there is a major difference between the best for the money and the best you can afford!!!
