Children are worthy of the investment we put into them. I watch my son and he is so like his dad it is wonderful to realize where his kindness comes from. Our Matthew lives about 7 minutes away and has custody of our grandson(now 16). My heart is full just being in their lives, but we so enjoy when he calls and asks us to come on over for dinner, or let’s go out……The desire to spend time together, to share a meal, all serves to make us realize they really were paying attention all those years. Matt & his dad have become golf buddies, while not very good, they are creating memories and having fun every time they tee off. We are blessed to be so close, in all ways. Wish our daughter lived closer, but grateful for this blessing.

Noticed Amazon has increased their Vital Proteins Collagen to $44+ for the large size. Earlier this week, my Walmart (in middle TN) had a HUGE display of it. Good morning Nanny. Matthew is such a blessing. My dear Patrick is so busy with his family that he can only help in bits and pieces. I have been taking the collegian peptides since you first showed it. My nails are growing and strong enough to actually give me a nice appearance. No more chipping and pealing! I have been using Creat white strips since they came out. Once a week for one hour. We need to take care of ourselves. For appearances, comfort and it just makes us feel good. It’s great when our children help us! I’m happy Matthew does that for you. I love the self care it is simple and practical. I love that it’s simple. Many now are putting 10-12 products on their face morning and night and it’s expensive and I think really does not make a difference. The Collagen certainly does help with joint pain, I noticed after the first month, on my second tub now. Yay for Matthew …what a help he is. And nice that you have a wound care nurse in the family, I have great respect for them, we have had one twice a week for almost a year now that tends to my husbands foot, she is just a gem.

Mathew is quite the helper. He has such a great attitude. I love that you all seem to look after each other. Your bedroom looks so comfortable and cozy. I understand about having to be in another room during the football game. I received one of those jade rollers for Christmas last year, and I've never quite known what to do with it. You make a good point about getting older being okay, just need a little more maintenance. I was thinking about how one of my sisters passed away at 47, and another at 60. I miss being able to talk with them, etc. Some people never get the chance to get older. So I'm okay with it. Just have to remember to do the extra self care. One more thing on the cake you plan to make, what about pistachio? Or could go with a red cake for Valentine's, and then dust with powdered sugar like snow. It will be fun to see what you come up with. I love that cake pan. Wanted to mention that I also love the beautiful valentine wreath from Moose. Lovely! Anyway, thank you for the video. Another great video packed with great tips. Would like to thank my friends for your prayers and kind thoughts on my breast cancer journey. Had a lumpectomy. Tumor was very very small and removed all. No need for chemotherapy. Will have 19 radiation treatments and then an estrogen blocker pill 💊 7 days a week for 5 years. Did genetic testing and I tested negative for the BRACA gene which I am so grateful. 2 radiation treatments down and 17 to go. Thanks again. God is good all the time God is good.

I have been using a fly swatter to moisturize my back with eucerin cream. my hubby got it at the hardware store. it works great to get my back without help. my mom used to use nivea lotion, but i cant use anything scented. i was doing some thinking on how to apply oils to the back, maybe use a misting spray bottle. i'm new here, but now my day isn't complete without a Nanny video!

Nanny, I want to give a reenforcement for this vital protein collagen you got me started on. I bought a small canister just to try because I have problems with my hiatal hernia. I guess is what causes it but anyway I don’t do well with powders mixing it in liquids. I have had bad results before with powder proteins. I just can’t tolerate the bad taste the aftertaste. I can Put it in smoothies with berries and and vanilla flavoring and I even use sugar-free Jell-O in my smoothies to kill that Protein yucky taste. The vital collagen has zero over taste they are true to advertise NO TASTE. Well , they do this one vital collagen protein Ladies ,does not have an aftertaste. I can put it just over some strawberries with Cool Whip cannot taste it. I love it. Thank you ,Nanny.
