A Greek in the Amazon, minus Bezos

The Amazon is a truly remarkable part of our planet as it spreads across many countries and countless Indigenous nations. Its imperative that we protect the Amazon, for their are our global lungs. It’s heartening to note that under Lula, more is being done to preserve the Amazon and the peoples who live on these sacred lands
This was my visit. I still do t understand how Bezos was able to take the name Amazon and use it for his company. What is he doing to return profits to the actual Amazon??

I was exactly at the same spot in the Amazon river back in 1989. I only had two glasses of beer and I was already starting to see pink dolphins as opposed to pink elephants!!! And I thought the beer in South America was very strong!!!
