If you went to PNG and visited Port Moresby claiming that you been to PNG you should be ashamed of yourself if you didn’t visit all of the outer islands and all the other provinces Port Moresby is not the rest of PNG 😊

Feel free to make a video of the beauty of PNG. Tatana and Port Moresby have every right to be visited by the Greek, hence it’s called A Greek In PNG and a visit to Tatana island. A friend actually provides a commentary in the video explaining why people should visit the provinces but this film is not abt the provinces otherwise it would be labelled as such

Σκεφτόμαστε μάλιστα στο μέλλον να μετακομίσουμε εκεί οριστικά. Θα ήθελα έναν τρόπο επικοινωνίας με την κοινότητα εκεί.

If they really want the language to continue, one of the ways they could do that is by opening up an orphanage in the area and speaking only Greek to the kids for a time so that it becomes their native language. Then, gradually educate them in Italian as they get older or teach them the local Italian variety. It’s good for the brain development to speak more than one language from early childhood and it will do wonders for preservation of this very unique language for another generation.

Awh, that was so heartwarming to see. Another wonderful and extremely appreciated Greko video, from Magna Graecia. You can not be thanked enough!. I think we met in Denver about 25 years ago under less-than-wonderful circumstances (for me). But today, because I know my true heritage and feel strong in it, I can not tell you how grateful I am for your enthusiasm and these videos and how they help me learn more about my Greko family of Magna Graecia (and Syria). In reality they are Greek speaking Eastern Roman Greek Orthodox Pontians. No lineage to the Ancient Greeks or mainland Greeks as they claim or Billy claims. Greek became the official language of Anatolia under the Eastern Roman Empire.

Cambodia may have as many Greek restaurants as the entire state of California. I'm guessing that the Greeks are a contented people. Content mostly to remain in Greece but vacationing regularly, and content to eat wonderful meals at home.

@@billywood8870 Yea, I hear that too. My dad was in the merchant Marines for Greece in the after WW2 and told me many stories about the fun they all had in Africa. Greeks had a blast and maybe we have mixed brothers there for sure! I know we are everywhere on this globe and I really like watching you point it out.
