Footage shot in the Amazon rainforest shows an uncontacted tribesman, the man is bare-chested and carrying a spear.

He is believed to belong to the Awá people. The Awá tribe have been described as the world's most threatened tribe by the NGO Survival International, which has tracked killings by loggers, who surround and encroach upon the group's territory. Their existence has been called into question by commercial interests that want to move into the land, but the new footage has been cited as proof that they remain in the territory

These peoples hearing is totally intact. So they can hear footsteps very well. Also, they rely on their senses for food which modern society people don’t in the same way.

" uncontacted" is a misleading term. These tribes have contact with other Amazon tribes that they trade with. That's how they end up with steel machetes. The uncontacted are not *governed* by the authorities in the countries that they live in.

It's really not crazy at all, as most of the Central American population is comprised of native indigenous DNA. You may not have relatives who are connected to a tribe or living in the jungle, but you definitely have "la sangre indígena". :)

@@Bards.98 Venezuela is socialist in name only. Wealth isn't even remotely evenly distributed, nor is the government trying to. Same with Soviet Russia. These nations are/were AUTHORITARIAN, not socialist. It is a fact that the countries that are the closest to socialism today are also the happiest on the planet (denmark, norway, sweden, netherlands etc). Regarding pure socialism, this has never been tried so we don't know it it works. I'd have to agree with you that it probably wouldn't. But this is clearly not the goal of the US democrats or of that of most left wing parties in the world. We just want a more fair world to live in. I can't help but see right wingers as selfish assholes for continuing to deny this future.

Also, respectfully, I feel like you’re downplaying the fact that once an Amish person chooses to leave, they typically won’t be welcomed back into the community they left. The ability to see through brush like that, is something that is taught to special forces in jungle training. This concept was a fascination for me in my youth, so I went out and taught myself how to do it, honestly, it's shocking how useful a skill it has been throughout my life.

Native Americans of South America are partially/(half or more) caucasoid from the Ancestral North Eurasian shared between northern europeans and indigenous. East Asians, on the other hand, don’t have that admixture.
