Hey, Ed! I'm STILL not backing down on the fact you need to have Steve Lehto on your channel talking about stuff. Here is a video on his channel where he talks about the M35 he used to own. (You need to get him to put it into VINWiki) This is the same lawyer who defended hundreds of traffic tickets for the first three or four years of the Woodward Dream Cruise for free. Going to the (UK) Police Driver Training Centre at Hendon, near London, was a real eye-opener for me. For example, their circular skid pad has 4 separate (water sprayed) quadrants each with different friction (muddy road to black ice). My instructor could hold a consistent slide for numerous circuits and then flip the car to reverse direction at any given point. This was in a standard, 3 litre, AUTOMATIC police cruiser! Out on the road, doing practice pursuit driving, they could drive at a phenomenal rate, whilst giving a non-stop hazard perception (plus!) commentary and AT ALL TIMES maintaining FULL grip and traction and ALWAYS being able to stop within visible range! On my advanced motorcycle training, my (Police Class 1) instructor advised me - prior to heading off on my test - that UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES should I try to get away from, or lose, my examiner (generally accepted as one of the best police riders in the country) because the ONLY way to succeed was to end up killing myself! These two experiences taught me the wisdom of pulling over asap when requested and NEVER even attempt to outrun the police - odds are very high that you'll fail and get caught (and punished more severely) or reasonably fair that you'll seriously injure (or quite possibly) kill yourself, your passengers or others! It ain't worth it!

Btw, Vincero watches are actually great. I know it’s an advertisement thing for Ed but I bought one about a year ago and it is the best watch in that price range I’ve ever had. I’ve worn it everywhere, working on cars, I bumped the brick wall on my front porch, I haven’t been able to scratch the crystal or chip the finish. It's about using the car as a tool to protect your occupants. Whether its defensively or offensively. Tactical driving doesn't mean you are a one-trick pony like drifting. I am not a tactical driver, I am not a professional driver. I am smart enough to know what they do though.
