If it were active they would have plunged into a puddle of lava, as most of the volcano would be filled with lava. And an inactive volcano is pretty much just a volcano that isn't murdering people at the moment.

I thought that if you fall into a volcano regardless of what temperature is it you'd be dead. But after watching this video it kind of changed my mind in a way that you have to be lucky if you fell into a volcano and lived.

Yeah, because there is sometimes a chance of survival when dropping into a volcano, unless if it is dormant. But if you fall into an active one, chances are you will die instantly from the extreme heat and plus the toxic fumes.

I read a book called " I survived the eruption of Mont st Helen" and its about a girl who was climbing st Helen with her brothers and at that time the volcano erupted, they were all OK thanks to her thinking. The reason they were up thare was because someone dared them to take a photo of a woman who lived up thare and they left the camera. PS I read this book back in 4th grade and I'm going into 7th grade now so I might have missed some details, but if you want to read the book such it up its in the I survived series.
